I blame the inept board of directors at the club.
I fully agree.
I agree too. Bucks starts at the top.
Hate to be pedantic, but the well known phrase is "The buck [i]stops/[i]..."

There it is. Excuse right here.
That's probably right. Lucrative Wembley final and a decent FA Cup run (and trip to Spurs) would have boosted their budget substantially.
Wouldn't be surprised if we are being outmuscled financially by the likes of Cheltenham. Sad to say it but it's true.

Interesting choice - we have been saying we need a miracle at the moment!
Could be a good deal - sign him up and you get three for the price of one don't you?!!
Better act quick as I heard Pilate is quite keen to look at him on trial. He's pretty good with crosses so that's an improvement on some of the squad last season!

More to it thank we think then maybe, as soon as you hear the name Cheltenham outbidding Walsall you automatically run WFC down without looking at what the other team actually earned last season.
We're just trudgling along with the average budget, zero bonuses, they've got a much boosted budget due to things you've said above thus probably can afford to splash out this season, and possibly outbidding us.
Need a cup run. :(

On you. Read the post above it for context.
Sadders wrote:We wont be signing players with reputations of any known quality. There's simply to many teams above us in the wage bracket ranking (even half of league two) that will get the first refusals. Izale Mcleod scored 20+ goals in the league below last season, Nick Powell scored 16 odd and earnt himself a £5m move to Manchester United (i no, i no a drastic comparison). McLeod will get snapped up by a team with at least some ambition, on at least £2,000P/W with aspirations of at least a mid table finish - something we dont. Be prepared for 10 more Lamplough's that were released by Brigg Town and sub conference sides.
This season is going to be as depressing as hell. Typical that all this falls in a season when we finally have 4 local games and 2 considered rivalry derbys.
