We will get well and truly trounced...3-0...they will play a weakend team but keep some good players on the bench just in case the score is still fairly close at 75 mins....the gap between the premier and the championship is gigantic let alone the gap between div 2 and the premier...i dont think it is possible to have a cup run now like it used to be...unless you are really...really lucky...anyway i say concentrate on the league...we cant afford to hang about in this league more than one season.

Latest Bolton team news added. They have defensive problems, but Anelka may play, trying to get match fit:-

Bedeau is certainly one player who could do with 90 minutes , stick him upfront with Ish . Butler is ready for a rest imo.

Not sure you could play bedeau and ishy up front together, we wouldn't keep the ball. Play Bedeau with either of Sam or Butler I say to mix up the style of the two strikers.

They're not mutually exclusive and indeed the confidence gained from a win tonight could make those three wins more, rather than less, likely. Plus a money-spinning tie in round three would come in very useful in the January transfer window.
