Just spotted this. And Brexiters have a go at Remainers for using a crystal ball!

Ah - old news that. Something more up to date?

Old news? It was announced 4 days before the “news” you posted
But then again, a £200 million investment from a foreign company into the British economy is rather insignificant news

Except it's contingent on 'future major orders', which rather flies in the face of your Facts not prediction appeals.
But, good. Just struggling to find how it's come about due to Brexit. As has already been discussed (Swampy was bigging it up also) every country gets investment. Even North Korea. Hence why you look at growth rates and GDP which take everything into account. And UK growth is down.
Let's see how the Japanese react to us losing our EU customs status before throwing a party over 600 jobs which may or may not reach full fruitition.

Nothing so far. Maybe I can help. Was this what you referring to?
'"We're very linked to the UK, we see the world through British eyes and we don't want to change that," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
"But at the same time, we believe we should be engaging more closely with Spain. I think we can create, even despite Brexit, a rainbow of opportunities for people who live in the bay of Gibraltar and the wealth that Gibraltar creates."' (BBC)
Hardly "embracing" "a great opportunity," is it?

How long do remainers think it will be before the French electorate will demand a referendum and then other countries follow,Its a broken failing system and I would vote out another hundred times given the choice.
And it is looking like the Italians want out
To be honest, the best bet for our selfish interests is if the whole thing disintegrates and we are there to fashion a new set of rules. But that's a pipe dream I think. It would probably split into zones of influence, with Germany leading the main block.
It will disintegrate anyway. I doubt there will be an EU in 15-20 years time.
Oh yeah, just like the UK was going to be forceably integrated into an EU army?
Comedy gold.

I love it that you and Manchester have spent the last few months worrying about the plight of the poor London based bankers. The same bankers that you both previously claimed were not much better than demons that were at fault for the last recession.

We can't add any light-hearted input though, that just means we can't come up any points, no matter how bizarre or comical the post we're responding to and no matter what the interaction is with the person who has just posted.

Perhaps he's just curious about you trying to staple together the nefarious dealings of a sub-set of bankers to which the entire country felt rightly aggrieved, to an alleged hypocrisy about how losing London as the EUs financial centre is a poor and totally avoidable economic choice?
And you had the audacity to sneer at my response to Pinnacle?
Someone, and perhaps you can remember who, once snapped that I was, quote 'talking cack'.
Pot, meet kettle.

A sense of humour failure of the magnitude I thought was impossible from you Matt. My comments was light-hearted in nature whilst still trying to make my point.
Must remember to use plenty of    in future to head off any misunderstandings.
