Re: Stevenage (H) League 1 Tuesday 1/1/2013
Given Stevenage's impressive away record, isn't a 2-1 prediction taking optimism a bit too far? Hope you're right though, and even more so considering I'm driving up to see it!!
(Note to chestersaddler and SWS1, plus any other interested parties......I've got spaces in the motor for lifts from South Wales to and from God's own country)
I think I'd be reasonably happy with a draw from this one, provided we slaughter Pompey on Friday.
1-1 (Will.i.am) - 3,333 to view.

Can't see Stevenage not scoring. Walsall 2 - 2 Stevenage then beat Pompey on the box.

If they play like they did on my birthday, some of the rugby comments are going to have to be revised.
They were bloody good.
1-1 I hope. Then beat the money cheats.

Best team I have seen this season. Not seen a team counter attack so quickly since Sir Ray was at Walsall.

HMP Stevenage was relocated to Lancashire last season. We play Governor Westley's new institution on the 13th.

A solid point tomorrow followed by 3 against Pompey will see a very decent festive spell come to an end and mid-table a real possibility.
1-1 Grigg with the equalizer after going 1 down early on again.
3472 to see it with around 300 from stevenage

Agreed. They still had a physical presence about them but played some really good stuff. What impressed me most was how they didn't allow us any time on the ball.

Oh dear, perhaps I should revise my lucky guess work down to a certain defeat :(

Don't worry, Cully, a new year with new hope and all that. Anyway, Smith will have worked them out and will have a plan of how to stuff them.

Walsall FC to start 2013 like a beast and beat Stevenage 5-0 before going on a 10 match winning run.
Come on me babbies 2013 styley.
(Either that or they'll be cack as normal).

With Brandy out and the change of Sweater at the Cully institute the vibes are flowing in a negative direction for the mighty saddlers, however the sun will shine and Grigg will sore high having drunk Brandy's gatorade and powerfully head home Bowermans 89th minute cross into the far corner to give the mighty Saddlers a 1-0 victory.
3,482 will be there to witness (186 from Stevenage)

Flo hamstring gone again. Baxandale on to replace him.

Curses. Didn't see this until this minute!
Still, my wife's not too well (bad cold) so wouldn't have been popular jumping ship for the day...
(Note to Welshie - don't rely on my accessing the board in good time - belt-and-braces job, personal e-mail!!) :)

The 'omens' dont look too good for the prospects of Flo being much help in our relegation battle, will have to rely on Brandy
to do the biz....

A player has had a hamstring injury - which is a long time for a Hamstring with delayed comebacks. He hasn't played more than 25 mins as a sub and it's a cold day. The pace of a game is much higher at the start.
Anyone with an ounce of logic can work out throwing a player like that in is a massive risk and the negatives of that defInitely outweigh the positives.
Seems to me like they have shoe-horned him in.

Indeed.
Playing ok, we've gone a little sloppy of late.
