How is this happening? asks Exile.
How about, for starters:
A lack of investment in the playing staff.
No squad depth - the paucity of our bench would embarrass a Conference side
Cuvelier is injured
The lack of a credible third striker

If I lived close enough I would become a stay away.
This is an absolute disgrace.

That , or a destination on the route of a very slippery slope .

Conference football within 18 months awaits.what makes you think this lot will do any better in the basement?

I couldn't make it tonight, heard in the car when it was 0-2. Now we've conceded 2 more goals against a bottom 4 team with 10 men - what on earth is going on?
I failed to make Lincoln which sounded pretty grim......what has changed so much since we demolished Preston with the fast, silky, accurate, flowing and dominant football. It cannot JUST be a question of confidence can it?

Anyone think we can hold Swindon to single figures on Saturday?

I didn't know we HAD ANY strikers for clips sake, this is a VERY low day as a Saddler, I am embarrassed, to be humiliated by a team thumped 4-0 themselves by a 4th Division team in the cup on saturday. We are an utter disgrace, no excuses, Smith has to resign NOW! What on earth will Swindon do to us!! Followed by an exit from the F.A. Cup at home by a Conference side?

Can't wait to read the reports from the poor old masochists that went. I expect to see phrases like "useless", "shower of shiite", "not fit to wear the shirt" and " sack the lot".

Don't be alarmed everyone, it's all part of the long term project apparently.
Goalkeeper completely shot of confidence, the one real talent in the side injured, weak upfront and now some players performing a really poor version of a defence.

Right, I'm not even there and don't have commentary, but even I can tell that Jones is not to blame and warrants being substituted any more than anyone else.

According to the stats (I know!!!) Scunthorpe have had 5 attempts on target, and have scored four goals
That has to tell you a little bit about the goalkeeper, surely?

I was being kind, Ancient. Both have potential, but what we would do for a Leon Clarke type striker at the moment.

My Walsall man of the match is Downing.
I bet he's run up and down the track really well.

Indeed. Him and Prutton were missing on Sat in the cup which may help explain their loss to Gills a little.
Just shows what making good use of loans can do to a team. Probably about time we started doing so as well. :?

I don't care if he is 16 stone , get the one class act in that we have ( bar cuvelier) .....I wanna see Wacka barking at the defence and organising things . If he is on the bench , that's fit enough for me.

Total injustice . If that game had gone on another 5 minutes we would have won that.
