Shrewsbury Town (a) - Sun 14/10/12
No form guide required, out the window for these games.
Main points are:
We are above Shrewsbury, win, lose or draw.
Shrewsbury are cack.
We're on Sky Sports for what seems the first time in ages, and a chance to show the world how we are now the Brazil of League 1.
I am actually a bit disappointed that Grigg is away with N.I. for this after his performance on Saturday.
Predicitons?
A heated affair, 2 red cards, Walsall to win 4-1

1-1 going into 4 minutes of stoppage time, holden to rifle a shot from 20 yards with 10 seconds on the clock which bounces off dancin kev's head(who is right next to the post) and goes into the bottom right hand corner, the ref gives it and the red army goes bonkers to everybody needs a nutter in the middle.

2-1 to us, with Matt Richards scoring a free kick and giving away two penalties - scored by Cuvelier and Bowerman respectively.

If any Walsall supporter cheers any player who is playing for Shrewsbury they should be sent to the gallows.
Counting down the seconds.

Agree.
I like Matt Richards, but he now plays for Shrewsbury, therefore certifying his Scunthorpe status. Bald fudge barclays.
Disgusting club that should be fudge burned with everyone inside it. Utter cack.

In our favour:
We're not playing at home.
It won't go to penalties.
2-0 to the Saddlers.

Agreed, the Mark Wright & Richards club are going to be very confused allegiance wise.

Yeah, but watch 'em both play blinders...and probably score!
We will need to be on our mettle, the confidence meter will be incredibly low at present, still we do appear to play better away from home, indeed tear down the Bezza and lets play all our fixtures away..we may secure mid table mediocrity if we did!

Defeat for me, ultimate humilation to lose to the Shrews, but confidence is shot by 3 straight home defeats, and I can't see us coming back quickly from that. :(
Hope I'm wrong, and will be delighted if I am!

The form book goes out the window in a game like this, and like I said on another thread, if the players have trouble motivating themselves for a game like this then we do have problems

Epic defeat by a large margin followed by a lucky draw and an unlikely win.
Worst part will be having to suffer the drunken boorish antics and various exotic vapours extruded by some of our 'blue pop, pot noodle, Paul's Boutique lower floors to go fans' © Asps 2010 without the usual 50m. buffer zone I am able to enjoy at home games.
Sort it out O'Kelly
