Re: Portsmouth (a) - 15/09/12 - League 1
Can anyone explain this from the Portsmouth web site.I though the 3 players mentioned were all in our team.Or is it david sonner and not danny, and was corica playing for them.
Last Time: Portsmouth 3 Walsall 2 (Division One - 30/11/2002)
Walsall took the lead when David Sonner scored from the spot after Paul Ritchie had taken out Steve Corica in the box. Pompey eventually drew level right before half-time courtesy of Nigel Quashie's strike.
Svetoslav Todorov headed the hosts in front but another penalty was scored by Sonner after he was brought down by Jason Crowe. The winner was scored by Matt Taylor from close range in a game full of yellow cards.
My Prediction
Walsall are not to be underestimated whilst I believe some of our fans are making too much of a fortunate win last Sunday. This will be a draw.

I'm in an optimistic mode at the moment so I'll go for a 1-1 draw against Administration FC. Butler with ours, in front of 11,000 including 250 of ours.
..oh, and Izale McLeod to dive all over the place.

Today's line-up:
Grof
Butler
Holden
Purkiss
Taylor
Featherstone
Cuvelier
Baxendale
Paterson
Hemmings
Bowerman
Substitutes: Jones, Taundry, Downing, Jones, Grigg, Taylor, Williams.
Dean bites the bullet and gives Bowerman his chance for 90 minutes with Will on the bench. :D

Well, it's nearly ten past three and everyone has kicked off apart from us.......is something going on??? :?
Elsewhere Crewe are 0-2 up at Stevenage after 2 minutes, Scunthorpe have taken the lead at Sloppies, as have Doncaster at Colchester.
Edit...We've kicked off, at about 3.12pm I reckon :?

Did you pause the commentary by any chance?

Don't think so - I'm shifting between 4 tabs, refreshing all the time (BBC Videprinter, BBC match page, UTS, and BBC Warwickshire v Hampshire Final at Lord's)
I do stand to be corrected though

I've only been reading the commentary on the BBC but sounds like end to end stuff. Plenty of attempts on goal for both teams!
A win today would be fantastic!

Sounds like we're competing well. Paterson should have scored from our best chance according to Portsmouth News commentary - good save from keeper from a close range shot.

We'm in the play-offs........... and PNE are now 0-2 down at home to Crawley :D
Oh, and Warwickshire are 149 for 4, needing 95 more in 12 overs to win :?
