Personally I'm pleased we're trying to play football with the ball on the floor. I'd rather watch that in a league below than continue to try and cling on to League One status by hoofing it, trying to nick the odd goal from a set piece and then trying to hang on for the final whistle.
I just hope that on a rainy November Tuesday night away at some God-forsaken ground, Smith holds true to what he espouses above.

Fully agree. I was pleased to see Holden in particular getting in the box on Saturday and he did appear to be marshalling the midfielders to cover him and Butler when they went up for set pieces (shouldn't Butler being do that?). However, and I have cliched this elsewhere, we need someone with a presence up front to give us something different. Playing to feet is great, but sometimes a bloody great hoof up to the big striker to hold the ball up for the titches catch up can be effective when you are 1 - 0 down with five minutes to go.
