They're more direct than us, more physical than us. But we need to keep playing football. Grof at fault for both goals.

Could do better, but not by any means a shambles or disastrous display. Effort is there, but there is a gap in quality and physicality.

We'll play worse than this and win games.

I agree. If we are to get anywhere we need to pass quicker.

And we'll play against much poorer teams than this.

That percentage figure has been all over the place during the first half - it ended up as 62%

For the 74th time without a target man we're doomed. How long before you realise Smith?

Well, that's it for today, 3-0 down and Billy Paynter involved again. Bottom tonight, no doubt about it.

Pains me to say this but if there is not investment upfront then we will be relegated.

Cuvelier is playing too far forward. He can't influence the play.

In the first game, you want a good start to the season to start to build confidence, so you SHOULD play your best team, and that would include Walker in goal, NOT David Grof. I was dismayed to find Walker wasn't in the team, and it seems I was right to be.

Surrey Saddler was watching Walsall FC before you were a twinkle in your daddy's eye, so he knows what he's talking about when it comes to the Saddlers, and YOU need to address people with a bit more respect!

Stick with Grof. He's the future, not the past. Keepers sometimes have a shiter.

Chin up, Dave.

If you can find a way of combining 24-hour carer duties with a trip from South Wales to Walsall and back, I'd very much like to hear it.......

I have been watching WFC since 1967 (born in 1956) so that would make him about 67 if he started watching them at the same age as me !
Dont you dare patronise me, its a wonder you havent blocked my answer or deleted it like you normally do.
I also know what i am talking about when it comes to the saddlers and have seen many goalkeepers over the years, good and bad.
Get your facts right, shut up or mind your own business !
Surrey Saddler if you are as old as your mate says then you have seen far worse, give the kid a chance for gods sake.

Maths (sums) not you strong point, Pinnacle. By your calculation, I am 45. Thanks mate, you are my friend for life :D I have seen far worse, but I must admit I have never been impressed by Grof

Indeed. To have an opinion on the squad, you kind of need to watch them.

OK, so after one game we're (joint) bottom of the table...but this early in the season League tables can be misleading - I mean, you wouldn't expect to see the Premiership headed by Fulham, Swansea and the Bagladies, would you?

Attendance 4,205 btw.
