The Saddlers are in a poor financial position as they struggle to maintain their League One position on attendances more suited to League Two. They are reported to have offered Conference-level wages to some of their existing squad for the coming season, leaving their fans in a state of resignation as to their prospects for the coming season and the bookies ranking them right at the foot of their odds lists.

I'd love to know what "Bobo's" source is on that scoop. He must have one, surely, as no tuppenny ha'penny web journalist worth his salt would publish complete crap to fill space online would he?

Lancashire? I quite liked him but Dean Smith clearly didn't rate him, therefore why wouldn't he allow him to leave?
Taundry? Regularly slated on here for his performances, now it's a sign of the club's terrible decline that we haven't re-signed him apparently?

Signing Chambers is a real possibility. He isn't someone that's experienced any injury issues to my knowledge and would be an excellent signing in my opinion - he's still a quality player.

James has made a lot of money during his career and isn't one to be motivated by money. He, like his bro, is very much a local lad.

All depends on what other offers he gets I suspect.
