Former loanee Andrew Davies has signed a one year deal with Bradford City after being on loan there for most of last season. Centre half isn't really a priority position for ourselves but from what I've seen of him, thought he could cut it at our level at least.

Have to disagree.....We are not going to go the whole season with Buts and Smith playing every game. Injury's and suspensions and then what? Beevers as stand in? Another good CB is def a requirement.

Requirement maybe, but not a priority considering we have positions in the team where we don't have ANY senior players contracted.

Contracts are not up until 30th June, Deano wont know who we have got to work with.

I think he will have an idea of who he wants to sign and will start making moves towards mid-June, well I hope so anyway, we cant afford to be 2 weeks behind everyone else again.

Huddersfield have released their centre back Nathan Clarke, always been a solid back up to Peter Clarke for them and if Smith dont sign we've got one proper centre back in Butler. There's no chance we'l get Roberts, he's on 5k+ a week up there and still fancies himself. Swindon or Notts County wouldn't surprise me for them.
