Went to Exeter's game at Rochdale yesterday. Exeter completely bossed the game for 70 minutes against a dire Rochdale team and could have been 4 or 5 up rather than just 2-0. Then their keeper, who was dodgy throughout, dived out of the way of a routine shot & suddenly the game was transformed, with Rochdale scoring another 2 (one a lob with the keeper well out of position), as well as hitting the post.

My conclusions for next Saturday is that whilst they are quite neat footballing side going forward, our defence is far superior to Rochdale's so they shouldn't pose us too much trouble. They are definitly vulnerable at the back with the keeper, based on yesterday's showing a definite weak link - at fault with 2 of the goals plus he made some poor kicks straight to Rochdale forwards.

Prediction - 3-1 to the Saddlers

Knowing our luck, their keeper will probably have a blinder. :(

Not quite. On 28th March they were just one place and one point ahead of us. We had both played 39 matches, Bury had 43 points and Walsall had 42. Since then Bury have won four matches.
