From 2-0 up to 3-3. At least they carried on fighting after going behind to get a draw. They need to carry on playing for however much time they play. This losing points in the last few minutes is getting to be a habit we can do without.

wasted chance today - I thought we were most of the way to safety at 2-0 up. We better beat chesterfield next week.

Obviously we've got to go down a goal before performing.

:? Presumably we must have been doing something right to be 2-0 up?

Relieved but not happy. However, Rochdale must be kicking themselves! What an opportunity thrown away for them - they are doomed now along with Exeter and Chesterfield.

It's just about acceptable for the fans to act like we've won the game at half time. But it ay for the players. We were atrocious second half. Long way to go yet boys and girls.

It'll be interesting to know the impact the substitutions had on the game.

My thoughts exactly, disappointing to not win after being 2-0 up but still another point gained against a team like ourselves who are fighting for survival

Re: Rochdale (A) League 1 Saturday 31/3/12.
A missed opportunity at 2-0 up, but at least it was us that got the equaliser, which means I'm not feeling quite as bad as I would have done. The last 20 minutes must have been pretty farcical from a Walsall point of view though.
I hope they learn from this experience and make sure they don't make the same mistake against an equally desperate Chesterfield side next week, when three points are an absolute must [and Charlton away is next..].

We can't have learned much as i've lost count of the number of late equalisers we've conceded this season. I reckon a good 8-10 points have been lost!!! Key match against Chesterfield bnut then, it was always going to be a key game. A point's a point but we really could have done with winning this one with the tough games we have on the horizon.
Rather than hanging onto the coat tails of those above us, we're still connected to those below us, which is frustrating.
