We should be looking to win this one. As it is, a 2-1 defeat in front of barely 3,000, as Colchester's away following is as bad as ours [if not worse - they took only 52 to Hartlepool recently].

Bloody is far worse then! That's embarrassing.

Anyway, 1-1 draw.

Understatement! Results just aint going right for us at the moment, despite the next few weeks seeing us playing minor/mid table opposition, it's teams like this that seem to stall us into hoofball tactics, which have proven useless all season. When we play football on the pitch aka Hillsborough, we look ok, but we aint winning matches. Tuesday will see a draw at best, defeat possible....then our 'game in hand' will be gone and we'll STILL be in the relegation zone.
Will go to the wire I'm sure, last day nerves in shreds again!! :(

This game and then the Rochdale game are huge.

We need to suck the likes of Bury, Orient and Preston into the scrap and the only way we can do that is to win these two games.

Hopefully, Colchester will be tired after a difficult game yesterday followed by a long trip up. And hopefully we play to ours rather than the opposition strengths.

3-2 to us in front of 3,542. Smith, Flo and Ledesma for us.

750 to then start planning the trip to Rochdale.

Yes, I'll be at both of these. Tuesday's been a logistical nightmare, but if the trains are behaving I should be fine. But as I sit in the more refined upstairs environment, probably won't see you til Saturday. Be nice to meet FBIG too, provided he doesn't feel a need to scarifice my Toxteth-born lad to the great Neville-God.

Next Saturday will probably see three generations of us turning out which is always nice. Curtails the ale intake and necassitates bribes to keep some of the new words junior T learns from his grandad out of the house when we get home, but always worth it.
