Walsall F.C

It was an unbelievable night - one of the best performances I can remember seeing , there was nothing lucky about that win , we simply outplayed them and it could have easily been 4 or 5 - 1 . Arsenal were a side packed full of internationals and we simply tore them apart time and time again. Nowadays when there is cup upset it is always diminished as the Premier league side always fields an under strength team back then there was none of that , it truly was a great great performance

Great night , great memories

Was going to go down today, but im gonna save my money for Rochdale next week.

1-1. Nicholls, in front of 3,865.

Costly exercise these days is it not? I'm doing Rochdale next Saturday too, it's twopenny halfpenny run for me, I could leave home at 2.30 and still be there for the ko! Just hope we don't get any penalties again! Really bad memories of the Mickey Mouse cup debacle.

I'm glad Grigg aint fit, he disjoints our 'attack' (  ) cus he's pretty useless generally. Still have a good feeling about us beating Stevenage, play like we did against Wednesday and we''ll stroll past 'em, but, this IS Walsall aint it!

If we'me winning 1-0 at 90 minutes, please Mr Smith don't make any more useless substitutions, and enable THEM to equalize aka Hillsborough!!!

Comment on Sky Sports match website..... "10 minutes, Walsall are in control of the match. Key player Andy Butler".

That's the kind of reporting I like :D

Sky Sports after 20 minutes... "20 minutes, neither team can take control of the match. Key player Florent Cuvelier".

Could do with Preston getting off thier backsides and knocking one in against Bury, should not be THAT difficult on current form!

Prayers answered (so far)... 68 minutes Preston 1 Bury 0

Also, Yeovil have gone a goal down at home to Hartlepool.

We really need to win that game in hand and even then it looks like being down to the last game of the season the way results are going at present.

Did anyone notice that Jarvis scored for Torquay today - that makes me feel even worse!

I thought that the post about the Wycombe equaliser was a joke - I can't take these injury time heart-aches.

The question I ask myself is 'Do Walsall DESERVE to stay up?'

I wonder...

You will find out in may.

Not looking to clever at the moment, Wycombe are going to take some catching if they keep getting results the way they are. We'll see.

too disappointed/peed off to give a full match report but..

1. Can someone tell me why we play good for football for 10 minutes out of the 90 and hoofball rubbish for the rest? especially when we have strikers whom are not good in the air.

2. Can someone please, please tell me why Alex Nicholls is a preferred option to Emmanuel Ledesma?

I know I have been wittering on about this for weeks - but WHY do we play aimless hoofball? When we play it on the ground we carved them open every single time.

The manager needs to answer why.

I thought Nicholls was good against Sheffield Wednesday but you're right Ledesma would be much better I would have thought.
