Play like we did last night and a point could be obtained, but pleeease Deano, not Nicholls & Grigg again, with that pairing
we were only playing with 9 men! Bowerman & Macken?
1-1 then..here's hoping.

Will be able to combine a rare visit to Deepdale with a family visit to Kendal. Looking forward to this after Tuesday night's battling performance so completely unrealistically expecting 3 wins in a row ..... 2-1

Normally wear LOTS of layers over there at this time of year, either that or it's pouring with rain! Am going by train from Kendal to Preston.

So looks like we'll have Nicholls and Grigg playing all game then. Hope we don't have anyone sent off. :(

Re: Preston North End (A) League 1 Saturday 25/2/12.
Walsall to get a spectacular three on the bounce. Marsh and O'Connor to score, hauling us back into contention with Stoke, Man City and Fulham.
Fans to dance around the stand to recent hits by Clock and 2 Untallented.
Unless he plays Jarvis and Nicholls...
In which case we'll get dicked 5-1 on the way to future Europa Unibond League glory, bankrolled by our Cyrpiot owner Al-Bonseria.
Walsall to have to resort to bribing officials to give us dodgy penalties against Sporting Runcorn and Racing Club Marine.
Nicholls to miss them anyway, meaning we have to play three weeks injury time....
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it me or are these predictions getting more surreal every time?

Really looking forward to this one --for the first time in ages!
It's been a while since our last trip to Deepdale so I hope we take a decent following --500? Maybe after back to back wins.

I think Jason Brissett will score a hatrick, on his way to throwing a wendy at Graham Alexander and Sir Ray will clap to the away enders off as we here strains of Martine McCutcheons - Perfect Moment!!!
but tomorrow will be 1-1. Graham Alexander to score for PNE(???). Macken for uzz. :D

I think we'll draw this one too. 1-1. Cuvelier for us, Parry for them.

I think we will pinch this one by two goals to one in front of seven thousand four hundred and eleven. Macken with both.
I may post a "play off contenders" thread tomorrow evening if we win :D

Not so many years back, Preston away we would have been assured of a 500+ away following, now 300 seems good

2-1 them. Nothing of interest to happen at the game. Big Baz to buy a doner with extra chilli for lunch, and melt his backside to the car seat on the way home though.

Nothing heard as yet from that very strange looking knob (pnethor?) who lorded it extremely large before defeat by little Walsall.
As far as today is concerned, I will gladly settle for the customary (until the last 2 games) 1-1 draw. Bowerman to score, coming on as a sub 68th minute to replace an Alex Nicholls now well past his sell-by date.

Re: Preston North End (A) League 1 Saturday 25/2/12.
Gutted I couldn't make today, kids' social life getting in the way.
Anyway, in Chambers' absence glad he's left the back five alone and not been tempted to put Taundry in midfield. Thought he might have put Beevers into the middle of the park to compliment Flo. As it is I suspect we'll look half decent on the ball when we're in pocession but PNE's midfield will also get some quality time with it too.
Come on lads!
