What a great first half, Smith must have been reading these boards this week! We've played it along the deck and looked like a mid-table team and created chances. Just goes to show what we're capable of when we don't hoof it. More 2nd half please!

Dear me, Taundry in the side and Grigg on the bench..is he utterly tactically inept?
Both goals coming from Taundry crosses.
Nobody in our squad puts in a cross as good as Taundry. FACT
I'd probably agree with that. Not sure what that says with our squad though (or the standard of our wide / creative players to be more exact!!)
Actually, maybe Paterson could challenge him as he can hit a good free kick too.

If only more people had your sunny disposition, AM.
Your posts over the last few years have been a regular tonic to those of us in the dwindling "glass half full" camp. Always optimistic, never resorting to hyperbole or knee-jerk reaction, you are the voice of reason in a world of hypocrisy and cant.

"cant"??? That's a cockney lady-garden isn't it?
Sounds as if Bournemouth have come out with all guns blazing for the second half..... one substitution, and they've had shots and corners already.
No subs for us - "Don't change a winning team" :D

he could have the best game in the world and people would still hate him.
Many players have made a career from being able to take set pieces :P
Winning this match would be a big result. Come on Saddlers

When will Smith ever learn!
You do not make a substitution in the last minute when you are winning. It does not waste time, it disrupts a winning team.
He did it against Chesterfield and again today!
LEARN from your mistakes or step aside and let someone do the job who will!

If you can play well for 45 minutes, put your chances away and go into half time two goals clear, there is no way you should be ending the game with anything less than three points. It's a cruel, cruel game at times, but that's why we're going down.

Re: A F C Bournemouth (H) League 1 Saturday 7/1/12.
Many congratulations to DS and all the boys on keeping our magnificent long unbeaten home run going. Once again we have shown our mettle by battling away for a hard-earned point against one of the division's front-runners, the mighty AFC Bournemouth. While many lesser managers would have pursued a frankly ridiculous strategy of trying to win a match, Smith has shown his tactical nous yet again by making sure that, come full-time, we can look back on a richly deserved point. So long as we keep on picking up the occasional draw here and there I have no doubt that we will avoid finishing bottom of the division and what a credit that will be to all connected with the club.
