I see this one as a bridge too far for the boys, they already looked tired on Saturday, sadly I think we'll lose this one...

Should that happen i hope there will be some ambulances on hand for the numerous heart attacks at the squirril end!
Though they totally humiliated us a few weeks ago, this is a totally 'different' team that we are sending to Meadow Lane,
and, they may be a little tired after Sundays action, and are by no means 'safe' in thier current League position, we could surprise ourselves again, expect goals from both sides but with us coming out on top...say 2-3? Certainly hope so, cus I'll be there!
Is this the same m.o.g.? Long may he stay ;) I agree mate, not sure the heavy pitch will suit our new free flowing passing style though!

I'll take a point NOW from this.
Let's just hope they're still knackered from yesterday's FA Cup exertions - that's our best chance of getting something.

Hope there are no helicopter images, cus when Matt & Hughes collide on that silky smooth pitch it'll be like a billiard table!
Don't mention helicopters on here, it upsets some people.

But how many times do we see teams crash back down to Earth shortly after performing some FA cup heroics?
It'll be a difficult pitch and a real battle, but we shouldn't go into it too negatively.

Re: Notts County (A) League 1 Wednesday 2/2/11.
A lot of people said we'd flop after big F.A cup ties but just won't happen that year, Drew 2-2 with Wigan at home went to Dagenham and Redbridge won 3-0 then went to Wigan for the replay won 2-0 then had Grimsby 4 days later and won, this year went to Sunderland won 2-1 then a few days later went to Southampton drew 0-0 they didn't get a shot on target all game.
Since the last time we played:
Walsall 0-3 Notts County
Since then it's been for you:
Peterborough 4-1 Walsall 6th
Tranmere 3-3 Walsall 20th
Bristol Rovers 2-2 Walsall 22nd
Walsall 2-4 Huddersfield 3rd
Exeter 2-1 Walsall 13th
Walsall 1-1 Oldham 5th
Walsall 6-1 Bristol Rovers 22nd
WON one (1) game in the last 8 matches
Notts:
Notts County 3-0 Hartlepool 14th
Sunderland 1-2 Notts County 6th PREM CUP
Southampton 0-0 Notts County 4th
Notts County 0-1 Carlisle 11th
Hartlepool 1-1 Notts County 14th
Notts County 1-1 Man City 3rd PREM CUP
In our last 11 games we've lost to : Carlisle and Beat: Swindon, Mk Dons, Bournemouth, Walsall, Hartlepool, Sunderland. 4 Draws. Scored: 17 Conceded: 6 Clean Sheets: 5 and failed to score in 2 games. 1 goal is the most conceded in any game.[6 times]
In your last 11 games you've lost to : Sheff Wed, Torquay, Notts County, Peterborough, Huddersfield, Exeter and Beat: Charlton and Bristol Rovers. 3 Draws. Scored: 17 Conceded: 24 Clean sheets: 1 and failed to scored in 3 games. 4 goals the most conceded at any time [twice]
Interesting stats. I feel that Notts will win but could well be a close match - 2-0. Away Following: 450-600 Total Attendance: 5,370 although could be anything up to 6,500-7,000

Hello Mr Notts Sir!
I completely understand your use of the form book but after a 6-1 Victory you could say its out of the window, we are playing the best football in a long time. You could forgive us for thinking we may be able to sneak something here.
We have the players to cause you problems, all we need to do is keep our head all over the pitch.
I don't want to predict because I dont know.

Completely understandable, cracking result for you as well. I did watch the goals, highlights ect.. and can't see you getting the opportunity to be able to score most of those - especially the two Butler goals? or the ones which were headers or from corners ect.. we're probably the strongest team in the air in this division. Hence if you watched us V Man City aerially they didn't have a chance v Pearce and Edwards even with Jo 6ft 2-3 who was woeful and that Bosnian Dzeko they paid stupid money being 6ft 4, they only could compete by getting round behind us with speed. I think a lot of people underrated us - teams don't like playing against us Bishop and Ravenhill in the middle are absolutely fearless. Should be a scrappy game today, even though we've loss Davies we've gained a better attacking player in Alan Gow who can still whip in a great ball!
Although similarly you could say we might be over confident and just going by paper stats we should be. Hoping for a good game though :)
