First away game of the season for me today.

Shamefully its my first away game since Millwall under DD :oops: when Deeney came off the bench to score the winner, his first goal for the club. Luckily I'm already in London so I've only got to hop across.

The last time we were at Wycombe it was the day after the new £20 came out. Me and Mrs Priestley were one of the first ones in and, paying cash on the gate, the steward hadn't seen the new design and wouldn't accept it. I told him if I was to forge a £20 note I'd have done it based on the current design and not made my own up :roll: Luckily one of the other stewards had got one so they let us in.

Wycombe are the worst team in the league.
A home record of won 1, drawn 2 and lost 4. They couldnt beat Tranmere at home, they are that dire.
They havent kept a clean sheet all season in any competition.
Lets face it, even CH can get his team and tactics right to beat this load of utter tripe.
Anything less than a Walsall win would be utterly disgraceful.

A statement to be repeated next week when we play Stourbridge :mrgreen:

Slough were 25-1 underdogs for that match, without a hope in hell, until Walsall F.C. turned up.......... :(

Just listened to Kearns report - said it was our worst first half performance this season.He reckons the first goal was 'freakish' and that 45 yards out the Wycombe player meant to score ala Ronaldinho. :lol: - the fact Ince was off his line not relevant!!!!! He reckons we have been 'unnerved' - well they better get their nerves for the second half or its gonna be 5- 0!
