It's odd because i've never seen such a look of "what the bloody hell's going on here" horror on anyone's face like that since.

I agree zip, the club promoting a Trust event can only be a good thing even if the event is for Charity/the club's shirt sponsors.
I've been really impressed with what I have read and seen of the latest incarnation of the Trust. Dean seems like a sensible lad who genuinely wants to build bridges and find common causes (such as this event) rather than re-inforcing antipathy and mis-trust.
Well done to all concerned.

Five.
Hopefully, there will be a bigger turn-out for the final session on Tuesday at Goals, Darlaston. Don't forget your £10 if you have not yet paid up - and your player details form.

Don't stress, more have paid their £10 and given registration form back and then we have Darren and Bart who have borders to cross. Tuesday will nail it.

I don't quite understand that, mate. If you had other things to do, that's fine, but why did it depend on how many attended? You either wanted to come or didn't.
Unlike at Goals, a session at the Arboretum can still be productive with lower numbers than usual, as it was today. It's not perfect by any means, but good management is having the ability to make the best of your situation.

I did have other things to do! Work is more important really mate, but i dont think giving up earning money is a sensible thing to do if there were only four people there? What exactly can be productive with FOUR people? It football, not tennis!

Of course work is more important, but you'd have had work whether there were 4 or 400 there. It just sounded like you were blaming non-attendance for not coming - but in not coming you've contributed to it yourself.
Don't take this the wrong way mate. 8)

I was gonna pop down and watch the training yesterday, but had two small problems. A) I wasn't sure in which part of the Arbo the training was occuring, and B) I didn't get up till 2pm. Am tempted to come and watch the main game though :D

Evo-your presence is demanded-it wouldn't be a proper event like you, it'd be like the state opening of Parliament without the Queen.

Re: Charity game vs Walsall Old Boys
Well the final training session is over until the day of the game. Having seen the lads a few times now i think we can put up a game and I've got the team line up in my head
Two things for players to consider:
* I am imposing a sex ban as of midnight Friday night/Saturday Morning-of i'm getting none, you aren't either!
* I want no mobile phones in the dressing room-if Sir Ray said no, then i say no! :D
