Looking at the stats they outplayed us. They had 62% of the play. They had 19 shots to our 1.
I think Hutchings and M O C have got some work to do.
Can't wait for match reports to be posted, you can't tell much from commentry.
It didn't sound as bad as the stats.

Id agree with that, cant wait to hear some reports from the ground, we did seem to hold our own and create chances from the commentary given.

Damn. If we had'nt have scored, we may have hung on for a 0-0.
Plucky effort from us, by the sounds of it, but 19-1 in the shots department says it all in terms of the quality of the respective teams.

Plucky effort, but they totally dominated us. We had a good 15 minute spell in the first half but we had no shots from open play. Our only shot was the penalty which was nailed on. Mannie Smith's fault for their winner, and I would blame Clayton for theres - he did make a superb save in the first half tho and was much better.

Ha! A leeds fan on the radio just said that Walsall is a hard place to come, and that we are always good at home. Maybe we raise the game when they visit but i think weve only won one home game since February. At least we didnt disgrace ourselves tonight (or so it sounded - the stats show a different story, 19 shots to 1). Apparently Clayton Ince made a great save from Beckford in the first half.

Just got back, we played really really well, but it just cemented the need for a decent striker, and quick!
There was just nothing upfront most of the time in the second half which was dissapointing but we played really well in midfield with westlake (again!) and smith playing bril in the back line.
Ince made a stunning save from Beckford in the first, he smacked a volley and Ince dived, pushed it onto the post and out.
Deffinatly a penalty aswell.
Happy with the performance, just a shame about the result :(

Was deffo a pen, Jones running in and whoever their player was just dived in.

Very entertaining game.
Referee didnt give us much, bottled a couple of big decisions, which when we had a third penalty appeal, he had to give it.
Manny Smith performed excellently again. So did Hughes.
Steve Jones played well, showed some good skill and won us a penalty. I know we lost but below is the penalty so you can enjoy it again:

Going 1-0 up only served to secure our downfall, we stopped holding on to the ball and Leeds scored.
Overall, we deserved something out of the game, but thats 6 goals conceded in the last 3 games and Im afraid we dont have enough going forward - like a lot of people have been saying since pre-season.
A striker is a priority else I fear we could struggle this season - we wont keep many clean sheets, and we certainly wont score many.

Attendance 8,483, including a whopping 3,679 away [that's more than the total crowd on Saturday  ].
