I did wonder, after I set it up two weeks ago, why nobody had posted.

Can Sheff offer a pub guide please.
Plus transport advice from the central station out to the ground. Supertram or bus?

Some people blame Bonser, others just blame the lazy people of Walsall.
Keep it quiet, I think you got away with it

Supertram to Rovrum? Now there's one hell of a contradiction in terms!

We'll certainly be able to field a team now. How fit and how co-ordinated might be a different story. How's rovrum's preseason been? Anyone know?

Doubt Saddlers World is covering them, so we'll have to rely on someone texting or mobile posting from the game.
So no, then.

Luckily (or unluckily) I'm in Sheffield this coming weekend and will be at the game, any chance I could join the "Walsall Massive" in a pub somewhere? I'd rather not be on my own (I know how sad this looks but I'm in Sheffield to see my girlfriends Mother so no-one wants to go with me!).

Re: Rotherham United vs Walsall - Friendly - 18/07/2009
A few quotes from rotherhammad's forum:
"Walsall look a good passing side, based on these first few minutes. No chances as yet."
"Walsall hit the bar with a header from a left wing cross."
"Warne has just curled an effort over the bar, but Walsall look more likely to score."
"The game has become more even and 'messy'. We are working harder, but chances are at a premium for both teams now."
They seem to have had a few shots too apparently, but nothing significant and I don't know what our line-up is.
EDIT - 0-0 at HT.

0-0 Parkin hit the bar. (half time)
Percie tells me that Hughes had a nightmare first half and Peter Till is rubbish. We have a stronger team on second half so will let you know what the score is as soon as it comes in.

Apparently Nicholls has put us 1-0 up.
"Walsall 1 up through Alex Nicholls. They almost scored again straight after too."

Quite an impressive following considering we're "the worst, most fickle fans in the league" (c RealAlemadrid).

Sign Jamie Vincent up for left back is Percie's call and Hughes is terrible - didn't win a header all game.

Gobern is on trail at mk dons now, one can only assume we didnt offer him a contract or he didnt like the terms.
