Although we're in some great form, Scunthorpe are a good side and due a win. Their bad run must come to an end at some stage, just as our winning run has to, so 2-1 to them.
At least we can go there with confidence, which makes a change from the Mullen 'era'.
Incidentally, Scunthorpe must be one of the last clubs to persevere with a 7.30 evening KO time [Darlington is the only other I can think of]. I wonder why?

Because the whole town's still in the 1970s? :D :D
On the subject of which, do Doncaster, Chesterfield and Rotherham still need to have 2pm kick-offs in the winter (for midweek games too)? Since those three towns are still stuck in the 19th century, when there were no floodlights and games had to be played in natural light.

What a surprise! After all, to be streamed the game would have to actually be on TV somewhere in the world. Huge Walsall fan as I am, I can't see that tonight's game was ever going to be shown on any channel anywhere!

Good to see Weston back for us tonight anyway, even if there is no Gerrard.

0-0 at half time. Scunny had the better of the half with precious few chances falling to Walsall. Both sides trying to play football in difficult conditions.
Wind against us in the second half - that'll hold the ball up a bit better going into the box...I hope.

Good result. Would've taken a point before the match.

Seriously though, this is arguably the best result of the last 6 games, even though it only brought the one point.
Very well done the lads, especially having the spirit to come back after going behind so late-on.

Another good point and keeps the unbeaten run going. Like others have said I think I would have taken a point before the match.

Good result, and a really good performance to boot, by the sound of things.
I think that just about puts an end to the playoff dream personally. With them above us, it would have been very profitable to have beaten them.
