Cheers for this. For what my two penneth is worth, I'd have Boertien instead of Palmer at left back, Reich on the right, and Bradley as part of a five-man midfield behind Ricketts. I'd maybe have had Zaaboub instead of Nicholls.
Other than that, I think Mullen's got it spot on.

Well done Incy, just saved a free kick. Colchester corner now, we are under the kosh by the sounds of it.

On the line with 'User Control Panel' (just under the red header at the top of the screen) there's a 'Chat' option. Just click on the link.

Nearly half time... we haven't seen as much of the ball we are holding our own , its been a game of few chances .I see we have had 3 shots on target and none off. United though have had 5 off target and 2 on.We need a 2nd goal kill them off.

Weston's return is most welcome. Not going to comment on the rest, mind. :?
Apart from Boertien in for Palmer (and Jabo for Deeney when fit), that's probably the side I'd pick away from home to be honest. Bearing in mind that Palmer's untouchable, Mullen's done about as well as he can.

Hmmmm Walsall up at half time, familiar scenario. Plenty of time to fall apart.*
*obviously I hope we don't.

This is going to be the test (for us and - even more so - for Colchester). I expected us to score first - we always seem to. Let's see whether or not their boss has the ability to make the necessary tactical changes (we know that Mullen won't be able to react if he does) and whether or not theit players have the self-belief to get themselves back in the game (the Colchester fan assured us that they would have).

True. But there are plenty of teams who don't have it about them to turn a game around - even when the opposition are incapable of changing tactics. Northampton were a good example the other week. And that's why we'll probably stay up (this season) even if we stick with Mullen (which we shouldn't). Scoring the first goal is enough to win plenty of games. Let's hope today's one of those.
