I've seen a poster for a match tomorrow night between the Saddlers and the aformentioned non-league team, but no mention on the list of fixtures and when I rang the club, they didn't know what I was talking about (I get that a lot).
Anyone else heard of this fixture, which appears to clash with the Boldmere one?

Thanks for that, thought I might have been going senile. I didn't realise Walsall were big enough to play two different friendlies on the same day. What's next, a pre-season tour of South Africa to boost shirt sales?

It'll be the youth team, I should think.

Isn't the Boldmere one a youth team game? First team aren't going to play Wolves and then Boldmere successive nights surely?
Does Walsall Wood FC still exist...

Dave Bathurst did confirm the game, over the p.a., at half-time, last night. The ground is the former Handrahan (not Handran) Timbers ground, Mile Flat, Kingswinford. It will be WFC's youth team.

1-0 to Walsall with Sean Geddes scuffing the winner in the second half.
