Is Ricketts available for this game, (as with Fox & Gerrard presumably suspended? and Mooney doubtful?) it will mean quite a few changes.

Don't know for sure but i would have thought Ricketts will not be available , we know Fox and Gerrard will miss out i await good news about Mooney .

When Ricketts first arrived it was said that Oldham had given clearance for him to play in FA Cup ties AND in the fixture against them. That indicated to me that (1) they had no intention of having him back and (2) they had no Cup ambitions or expectations of getting into the 3rd round (are they there, I have no idea?).

So if that original report was correct, he will be available on Saturday, and I certainly hope so, given the number of enforced absentees that we have for this game.

Can't see us getting anything at Boundary Park in the circumstances, but who knows, stranger things have happened. Maybe they have injuries and suspensions too. :?

Anything we get from this game will impress me if I'm honest. Along with us, they've got one of the best recent form records and have a striker who seems to be scoring for fun.
