Because its not sunny?

With him plus Caneiro and Sonner's hair this could be the first time in history that the weather forecast dictates the team selection.

It's the fans fault, get behind the lads and stop moaning

To be fair I think Sonko has had nothing of a pre-season, 3 weeks behind to start with then interupted by a slight injury. Its probably going to take him a few weeks to catch up.

You may well be right, Geordie. You certainly have an answer for everything

Whatever the case, it does not sound very promising to me.

:D :D :D

Just common sense really isn't it?

I agree pre-season results and performances, from what I've read, do not exactly cause one's adrenal glands to go into overdrive, but then again that isn't their intention.

I would like to see Mooney and Butler, particularly the latter getting into the groove against this standard of opposition, that is also very much the point of pre-season IMO. Match sharpness for strikers means scoring goals.

nice one Geordie
Seroiusly though i don't take to much notice of pre season results . just gives the lads a run out , a bit of match practice . I agree with comment about Sonko clearly he as a bit of catching up to do , hence DD's give him time comments the other week . :P

Moderately pleasing, encouraging to see Butler score, and for the second time the team come from a goal down to win.
