Well considering DD as has said he's going to change the team for next season, I would like to see Deeney play on Saturday. Butler is completely knackered, and DD doesn't seem convinced about Sam or TB, so I think it would be a great opportunity to give him a start or an extended sub appearance.

Can't see that happening Geordie , DD has his heart set on the title.
If however we had no chance of taking top place , i think that would be an excellent idea. Point taken about Butler.

Make sure you all look out for the female lineswoman on Saturday, Amy Rayner, the one who hacked off Mike Newell! :)

I predict a 3-0 win to the Super Saddlers (Butler 65mins, Sam 89, Keates 90).

And who, I have to add, had an excellent game last time she was here ( a few weeks after the Newell incident), when she failed to give the opposition anything.

:? She was awful!!!

We were just lucky enough to benefit from her inablity to keep up with play, and her bad decision making.

Glad you posted that, KJC. I thought I must have imagined things. My recollection was that she was terrible.

As an aside, I don't think BTH thinks much of her as an assistant ref either.

It's clear what Neil means, however!

2-1 Walsall (Butler + Benjamin) (Bishop for them - just to B consistent).
6,853 fans there. That could be way out though, as Saddlers fans continue to surprise
me. For instance, I thought we would take more to Torquay and not nearly as many to
County.

Why? Firstly we wouldn't get that many tickets at Torquay. Secondly there was nothing decided on the game. Thirdly it was Easter when lots of people have holidays booked. Fourthly it's 3/4 hours away when Notts is an hours away. Fifthly....er....I don't have a fifthly.

Early teams news from the BBC.

Walsall v Bury Walsall defender Anthony Gerrard is expected to have recovered from concussion in time to play.
But Allan Picken is available once more after long-term knee troubles should Gerrard fail to be passed fit.

Bury are without Brian Barry-Murphy for the rest of the season as he continues to be trouibled by a hamstring injury.

Experienced defender Chris Brass is also out of the remainder of the campaign, having undergone surgery on a hernia problem earlier this week.
