Just got back from the epic round trip. Well done to the Saddlers - it's impossible to say what a magnificent job Richard Money has done given the shambles we were when he arrived. Great credit to him, the players and the staff for getting us promoted. An unbelievable achievement.

Now, off for a pint or twelve.

Well he was a completely useless fat pudding until.....................GOAL!

Having just got back they aren't exactly dancing in the streets of Hull at the moment in celebration but in this household they are. Even Mrs Hull Saddler seems pleased.

A fantastic occasion with a tremendous atmosphere. A game where we did not perform especially well & if I was a County fan I would feel hard done by, but who cares the result was what mattered today. I am really looking forward to my first home game of the season next week when I think there will be a brilliant party atmosphere.
I am normally not one to join in much with the singing, usually restricting myself to a few 'C'mon Walsall' s, but I am completely hoarse. Still the alcoholic beverages I am now going to consume will hopefully help with that!

You have to savour these moments ...they don't come round that often.

Unbelievable atmosphere, unbelievable day.

In true Richard Money style, we grabbed the three points after having our backs to the wall for the second half. In fairness, every player worked his socks off and dispalyed pure professionalism throughout.

My man of the match was probably Westwood, who handled Lee excellently and coped with working alongside a group of very inexperienced defenders very well. There were a number of decent performances throughout the team without anyone really being able to take all the plaudits. That shows how much we rely on team performances rather than that of individuals.

A big thank you to Richard Money who has turned this club around. This time last year, in truth, we were being laughed at by everyone. The fact that I've received text messages of congratulations from various people tonight shows how things have changed.
It was also a nice touch to have Kinsella joining in with the celebrations - it clearly meant a lot to him.
Pictures to follow!

Now let's carry on this run and win a championship trophy for the cabinet! :D

Are you the guy who described the late John Inman as 'a comic genius', or are there two emotionally fragile posters around? Scary.

What is scary is the fact that you are still trying to wind everyone up on such a great day as this.

I will put this in very simple terms so that even you can understand it.....

1. Get a life
2. Get behind the club

If you can't manage this then progress to point 3 below

3. GET LOST!!!

Magnificent, magnificent day. It's not a season of spectacular highs, or flowing football, or headlines in all the papers, but it has been about one thing...pride. I know I'll remember today for the rest of my life. Massive thanks to everyone involved - the chairman, the manager, the back-room, the players, the fans - WE DID IT!

What a day , brilliant super smashing great :D

Breathtaking support , performance not good . but who cares job done.
We looked at lot better at the back when Westwood moved to right back.
Butler 2 superb Assists , Smith looks promising kept his head , when more experienced players started to panic .
Very impressed with the stadium . the celebrations by DD and the players at full time will long live in my memory great stuff.

Can we have another promotion next season please , so i can have another hug from Linda, made my day that did

FANRUDDY TASTIC

Not the greatest game and i'm sure Benji would have been subbed for Sam if we hadn't been forced to replace Gerrard and Pead, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Notts C were dreadful to watch. Now THAT is Hoofball.

Superb support, fantastic scenes (both pre - Hooters  , during and post match!!!). 2,500 my arris.

Great to meet Wednesdbury Saddler and Percie yesterday - good to put faces to avatars!!!

Top day, great to see Kinsella at the end on the pitch.

Now for the small matter of the championship trophy.

I think this is my sixth promotion season and each time,I've been there the day we went up.I think I enjoyed yesterday more than any of them-and conversely,I think Merson is partially the reason.Having a manager with no clue about tactics, organisation, fitness, pride and teamwork has really made me appreciate the work of one who does.
