I'd take that now, thank you.
If we lose on Sunday the thing to do is not panic , looking at the Dons remaining games , our run in is much better.
Hereford - away
Grimsby - home
Shrewsbury - away
Darlington - home
Stockport- away
Wycombe -away
Accrington - home.

Given the form of Grimsby and the others emboldened, that is a tough run-in. Come on The Buck!!! :!:

I agree totally with that. Whatever the result on Sunday we need to keep our nerve.
I'll go for 1-1. But a narrow defeat would not surprise me.

It's not a game I'm relishing. With our lack of apparent strike force at the moment, it seems like away from home at least, our best hope is a 0-0 draw (as hinted by others on this thread so far). One might argue that a promotion chasing team (that'll be us then) might approach every game with the attitude "we can/will win this game".
I'll grant you, we closed down/frustrated Wycombe for large chunks of the game, particularly since they are a promotion potential too. However, could you imagine us coming back from the deficit that Hartlepool did on Saturday? It all just feels a bit, risky.
It would seem that DD has "lack of options in attack" mixed up with "caution and prudence".
Ironically, I thought the game on Saturday was real entertaining stuff and I thought our fans were brilliant made loads of noise and got behind the team...

1-1.
We'll start well, and Harper will put us in front early on. Deep into injury time, MK will win a corner, McLeod will fall to the ground as if falling victim to a sniper in the stand. Gerrard gets sent off for a non-existent headbutt as Lee Probert gets his 15 seconds of fame on Sky TV. McLeod scores the resulting penalty, and we lose Gerrard for the next 3 games.

1-1 seems to be the consistent Dongs score against us.
Here's hoping McLeod dives but instead of the ref sending off one of our defenders and giving them a penalty, he gets a second yellow for diving in the 3rd minute and breaks his metatarsal and is out for the season...and all their "fans" drop dead.

Just with the lack of goals from ourselves and the pace and cheating of Mcleod I really cant see anything other than a MK win, sorry.
I just hope im wrong.
I agree Kev. Don't want to agree but can't lie to myself. We will lose this one by 2 goals to 0. This will be mainly down to us not getting out of our own half in a stupid attempt to get a fantastic, joyous, 3-laps-around-the -pitch-in-celebration 0 - 0 draw

I understand where you are coming from Dave, to be fair though, we did try to win the game saturday, it was only poor finishing that left us with a 0-0 draw, not the fact we didn't try and win the game

I obviously can't argue with you about Saturday's game. The text report I got was that we played really well in the first half but, as you say, poor finishing let us down. However, I was told that second half we just retreated into our own half and resorted to long ball crap. not the first time this season either.

I don't think it was that bad saturday Dave, wasn't as many clear cut chances second half, but they did have a go at winning it,
One instance, had golden boy Butler made a little more effort to stay on his feet, he would have been in on goal, seems to be when Sam goes off (every game) We resort more to long balls

Iv just been on the mk official site, and iys says there that they think a sellout is on the cars. 2 Of the stands have already sold out apparently. They have dropped prices in the family stand or something along those lines.
I think ddd will go for a point, were awful on tv and dongs sadly have the best attacke in the league and a good midfield.
Therefor i can't see anything other than a 2-0 defeat.
but as an eternal optimist
I'll go 2-2 Mcleod and platt for them , Butler and sam for us.
