Disappointing to lose it so late on, but on form, you can't be that surprised and judging by the commentary, the best team won.
What's probably a bit worrying is the change at half time... We were 1 up at the break, Hartlepool not really causing us any problems. Instead of sticking with the same, we make a defensive substituion and look to keep it tight, in which time against a decent team we concede 3 goals, opposition hit the post and we don't really create much.
Not so much doom and gloom, but the pressure is increasing and a new face or two to freshen things up would not hurt anyone right now. Suddenly we're under some real pressure for Friday's match at home to Lincoln.

But DD thinks that this team is capable. I am not sure I do.

Ishmel on for Keates?!? - surprising that DD is playing Ishmel and Wright together away from home against the form team and at 1-1
Not his normal tactic?!?
3-1...I rest my case :( :( :(
No Ishy was on for Wright
My apologies, just going off what BBC site has on it's live text display. Says Keates off for Asbo - obviously it's that easy to confuse Mark Wright for Dean Keates when you look at them!!

Don't take everything he says as gospel, he isn't going to come out and say "this team isn't good enough to get over the finish line, I'll bring in a couple of new faces to make sure" as thats just kicking them in the knackers.
If he isn't looking for new players, I'll be very surprised and very disappointed.

The thing is that the situation we're in has not happened overnight. The performances have not been good for a while, so it's a little disappointing DD didn't do more business in the transfer window

Most people on this board cried out for a replacement for Kinsella, and nowt has been done. I feel that to be DD worst blunder transfer wise. Lets hope we can get some new blood in to boost the middle of the park with some creativity.

...and if there anything like all the other players he's looked at brought to the club we'll all be disappointed.
Last season we were too late getting rid of UTS favourite Kevan. Wonder what Bonser will do this time? Without Kinsela Mr Touchy is clearly lost.

The point is we should have been 'freshening up the squad' last month. I maintain that we were far too complacent during the January Window in terms of not strengthening the squad and the midfield in particular. Upfront, Cederqvist was always a gamble. Somebody proven at this level would have been better. We haven't lost promotion today, but our inaction in January could cost us big time.
Not very happy tonight. But honestly not surprised either. I await some much needed optimism from those who were there.

Don't hold your breath!! They've freezed to death, spent a stack of cash, and seen us hardly create a jot today from all the reports I've heard, and now face the long drive home.
