There are many twists and turns to come , we will drop points so will our rivals . And the end of the season i fully expected the same 3 promoted teams as Geordie . with M K Dons winning the play offs .

for the Playoffs ill go for someone outside our little group of 5

I think anyone in this group who doesnt go up automatically will have a bit of wind took out of their sails unlike the 6/7th place teams who will be on a high if theyre in the playoff places

Geordiesaddler wrote:Its amazing how we fear the opposition. Hartlepool are just like us, a well drilled, efficient outfit that have got the defence right and therefore pick up points. I suppose we'll be terrified of Lincoln too, the team that's lost about 10 games this season in this appalling division.

Then there's the dongs, who contrived to lose 5-0 to Rochdale. Not quite the end of the world, because as we all now know that came a week later when we drew 1 each with them.

Win. lose or draw on Saturday it will be another typical division 4 encounter between two teams who weren't good enough to survive in division 3 last season, but who with a few improvements and a bit better organisation will be heading back there next season along with Swindon.

Boooo! Hark at you with your voice of reason and talking sense. Hyperbole, that's what we want on this message board, hyperbole!

A prediction for the match?

Well we ownt win - as I'm going and haven't done very well watching us this season!

1) Draw in FA cup against Macclesfield
2) Draw againts Brizzle Rovers
3) Only saw 45 minutes of Grimsby match!

So I'll go for a 0-0 draw with my son wondering why on earth I dragged him along!!

Just checked on the official site and it's only £9 for under 19s and NUS cards (bring ID).

Might tempt a few more to make the long slog northwards

We just need to pick up points at this stage of the season sod the performance just don’t lose the game! We have shown over the course of the season that we can grind a result out even when playing badly with the odd exception of Grimsby and Mansfield away.

Yes your dead right but I dont think a nil nil backs to the wall draw will be good enough, for lets say our more fickle fans. I couldnt care how we play over the next 15 games as long as we come out with 30pts from them.

Too right. Lets get promoted, next season is the time to worry about performances because we'll need to play much better to get results.

This could be where we find a bit of form against the more challenging sides. More often than not we've been up for the big games so far this season.

I honestly think that we will play better against the better teams who keep it on the floor. Its encouraging as well that Pool,s pitch is in good nick and lends itself to the passing game

I've said that for a while. Our best passing performances have come against Bolton, Wycombe, Notts County, all good passing sides.

I still don't think we should be worrying about other teams to change our style of play though, even if they are rough like Boston. If you play the ball on the floor and move it quick enough then cloggers don't have a chance to win everything in the air and make it tough for us.

Get the ball on the deck , no team in this league will touch us.
Problem is far to often teams are dragging us down to their level .

I'll go for a draw. Hartlepool are a good side.

But I reckon are lot will be up for this and want to prove a point to the doubters.

Toughest game of the season so far I think. I'll be delighted with a point.

People are saying they expect us to play better tomorrow against a 'passing side'. With the conditions as they are, I think both sides will struggle to save this match from falling victim to the conditions. It won't be pretty.
