Exactly.

However I would say Wright is well ahead of Fox because he creates far more goals.

I have no problem with Fox, I just want some equality like most of us do when defending Wright. I much prefer Fox as a left back. My problem is with DD for playing him where he does.

Face it, there's no decent answer and never is from Wright's critics because they have no evidence other than to say they don't like him.

How about the ratio of crosses that hit the first man? 90% id say, the wimping out of challenges, the lack of effort sometimes, the fact he hides when the going gets tough? Those are the reasons mark, its not just blind hatred. I dont hate him, I just dont think he is good enough for a side top of the league. Thats my opinion.

I wish you could, just to let you know that youre wrong, lets face it Wright usually pops in at least 2 decent crosses a game (puts the keeper off, gets to a walsall player etc) that means that he must have 20 crosses a game.

surely a man with a mahusive IQ could work that out?

Bit of a rubbish comment there Gary being as every game is different, It will be Quantative data also which is not predicatble as we can never predict future events due to Realsim. better? :)

Therefore suggesting he has 20 crosses every game, and will continue to, is not only scientifically wrong, its empirically wrong as well. :D

I know and that's the only opinion you and phil and the other come up with. Unfortunately it means nothing because you still can't answer the question which I'll make very clear once more.

Does wimping out of chances lose up points? NO (we hardly ever concede from the right hand side)

Does Mark Wright hiding lose us points? NO (he never hides from his
defensive duties and to be honest I don't think he hides AT ALL, its in your head. He has more possession than nearly everone because he DOESN'T hide)

Do Mark Wrights assists win us points? YES

Does Mark Wright's pace and ability to get to the other end of the pitch quick take pressure of our defence? YES

Until the answer to the first questions are YES and the last ones NO then he fully deserves his place in the team.

And once again you say he's not good enough for a top of the league side. Why? He's been a huge part of us getting there.

Pathetic argument, as always from the Wright critics. ;)

:D

I have a problem with him not creating anything, cutting inside and playing as an extra central midfielder. I have a problem with him not even attempting to beat his man and get a cross over.

However he is only doing what he is told to by DD as is every players. DD has us top of the table. Say no more. I think we could and would do better if he changed things slightly sometimes but as long as we're top we can't really argue.

I've read on here for months, it's just a matter of time before we start losing, we're playing crap etc etc. It hasn't happened.........yet!

My opinion is based on fact. Yours isn't. My is quantifyable, yours isn't.

That's not a valid question but mine are. However to debate properly, something Wright's critics can't do, I will answer your question as I have already but you have ignored.

Yes, if we bought another right winger in we may be better. Are you going to finance this as it won't fit into our wage structure. I'll repeat, your golden boy TONY BEDEAN'T was considered by most to be one of the best, if not the best RIGHT WINGER in League Two.

He is not a patch on Wright and isn't good enough to force Wright out. What does that tell you? Give DD a League One or Championship budget and he may bring in a League One or Championship right winger.

Until then your diatribe is pointless and misguided.

A midfielders job is to help attack and help defence.

We are the third leading scorers and Wright is second in the assists league meaning he helps attack.

We have the best defensive record in the league so Wright plays his part in defending.

That, Sir is quantifIable.

Wimping out of challenges (a line nicked from Phil if ever I saw it) is not quantifIable.
