Brizzle ought to bring a lot of fans, for what has historically been a good encounter between two teams who've been close goegraphically as well as in football terms. Sadly their "big" brothers at Cit have outshone them for some time.
Crowd: 6,818 including 855 Rovers fans (and a sheep, a barrel of carrots and a bale of hay).
Score: 3-1 Walsall, with the goal drought being broken in style. Butler (2) and Sam with ours, the third (Butler's second) coming late in the game to seal a good win, with Walsall dominating proceedings and Paul Trollope moaning (in best losing manager fashion) after the match that they were the better side and deserved the win.

We should be brim full of confidence after Tuesday - rightly so in my opinion. 3-0 I reckon. Butler to get back on the score sheet, Hector to bag one as well, and give us a bit of true competition for starting places at Peterborough.
Look for Pead to start, Mark Wright to return to the right wing where we all agree he should only ever be played, and for Danny Fox to head back to the left wing, and for Tony Bedeau to head back to the bench for a much needed 'rest'.

Don't get your hopes up about us bringing a large amount of away fans. We took approx 2,500 to Swindon the other week and then 1,100 to Hereford on Boxing day, and with it being Xmas and all, I doubt many people can afford to go! However, I think a minimum of 800 will make the trip.
You have a fantastic home record and our away record is shocking so I think you will win. It will be a tight game though as we have been playing our best football in years. The atmosphere will be amazing, it always is when we bring a large number to away games.
Good luck and see you Saturday!

1-0 to us, Butler at last! Crowd 5,901 [500 Gasheads].
Just to echo what Lord_Byron_Gas said, Rovers have been playing much better of late, without really getting the overall results they deserve. We will have to be on our mettle tomorrow, and our defence versus their attack will make for some interesting watching.

I am going to join the many others who have gone for a 2-0 win - our defence is very solid at home (touch wood!) and we seem to have a nice habit of sneaking a goal or two, even when the strikers aren't on fire.
The win against Shrewsbury was important, we were in a mini "slump" which can affect confidence, especially with some of the teams close behind us hitting a bit of form. That win will have done a lot of good for the players, so all being well this should be another 3 points in the bag....

They did have one of the best midfields we've come across though, in my opinion. Although, I'm not sure how much that was due to us having an off day.
Our midfield have an off day? Surely not?
