I doubt the two are connected because in theory that would allow potential for 2000 fans to move into areas that are well below 2000 in their respective capacities. Of course we won't take 2,000, but I wouldn't be at all surpised to see 1200 travel which is way over the "behind the goal" capacity. The ground is very exposed so if its raining it'll be a bit rough. Last time I went there was for a night match in early October and it was below freezing, absolutely taters!

The bus shelter thing that masquerades as covered terracing on one side is just a typical non -league "we must have some covered terracing to get in the Unibond League" type effort. Its got nothing to do with a serious attempt to provide adequate covered terracing. I know their rise has been rapid and very much on the back of the Brett Ormerod sell-on, but I'm amazed in this day and age that the facilities don't have to be a bit better - (see also Barnet I guess), bearing in mind some of the clubs that were knocked back a few years ago.

Their last home league game was put back 15 minutes because of crowd congestion, the crowd was 3000!! Hope that doesn't happen this week because I don't fancy being stuck for an hour having missed my train home.

Didn't Antnee Gerrard play on loan for Stanley whilst at Everton?

He did indeed, 5 games when they were in the Conference.

I wouldn't bet against closer to 1500. We took over a 1000 to Chester and that was a ground some had visited before and on a Friday night.

There'll be a lot of fans, young and old who'll be visiting this ground for the first time.

I think we'll have a large noisy following watching us nick the 3 points.

Just noticed no weekly prediction from me yet...

Sorry to say it but I have a feeling this will be our second defeat of the season, 2-1 Accrington.

55 minutes - Kinsella replaces Kris Taylor (tactical substitution)

According to the BBC we've had 45% of the play.

Incidentally, a scorer for Stirling Albion is a certain C. Cramb - is that our Colin?

Thought it was a foul.

With Lincoln scoring 7 that win was vital to keep us top. Well done the lads.

I see Lincoln have won 7-1. I think that this means their goal difference is now +19 where our is +02.

+20 with 34 points = 1 better goal difference and 2 better points total.

Get in. :)
