Sorry Exile, but the obsessive behavior is on the rise again. You'll learn to love it mate :D
And that Mr Green smile is a sarcastic one?

We all get excited about the opening game etc - but for the last 3 years we have won our opening games and I would not like seasons like those again.
I go for a 1-1 draw but more importantly looking for a good performance where the team look like they know what is expected of them (i.e. totally opposite to England in the world cup)
UP THE SADDLERS

I agree in that we should be looking at a good performance, but I don't think it's possible for us to see a good performance and a draw on Saturday. If we play to our potential, we should have too much quality for Rochdale.

My feeling is that playing the club with allegedly the smallest squad, and the lowest playing budget in the league. Also traditional slow starters whose pre-season has been injury hit - a team with genuine ambitions of promotion should take 3 points at Spotland.....However, as I've said before stopping the rot is a massive task and it might not start to happen until a few games, or even months into the new season. That won't stop us getting at least a play-off place come May I'm sure of that, but promotion won't be won or lost come Saturday no matter what happens.
I wouldn't be surprised to see us make a mediocre start and then come good with a run later in the season, saying that it would be great to get off to a flyer and just leave the opposition standing like we did after the Graydon relegation.
