It took ages to remember what that bar was called - Police Acadamy wasn't it! Classic.

I must ask you lot to stop using all this visual technology, as this moderator is unable to keep up, and I might find myself unable to control you all in accordance with the directions I have been given by site admin.

Thank you.

Oh, and stop putting Daz and Cheese all over my screen, as the picture is becoming very blurred ! It's an awful combination and doesn't half take some cleaning off !

Sincerest thanks to you all.

There is a hint of Christina Ronaldo in that picture of Gay Daz up there...

Maybe it was that, not the vile pink shirt, that tempted me to thump him for no apparent reason this afternoon. Pointless violence, what fun. Where's the cat gone...

Daz, you told me you were modelling the new third strip, a la Juve!

Mind you, Mike Parry said on Talk cack this morning that he can't sleep at the moment because of the heat and has to have a metal fan in the bedroom with him. Is there something you haven't told us?

Considering the heat and it was a pre season i really enjoyed the game.
Butler and Sam look like it could be a great partnership , Dobson's all round game was excellent the kind of midfielder we have missed for 2 years.

Roper and Gerrard strong solid at the back , Fox looked a lot better,
Bedeau did not over impress me but its early yet . I like the way Ince was talking to his defence through the first half he had a go at Roper at one stage.

All in all very promissing performance , i even got Roper to sign my shirt
some thing i will treasure .

Was that you behind the goal just before kick off, then?

I didn't mention the midfield too much in the report, but you're right. Dobson looked good, Kinsella was more the player we thought he was, Wright did well on the left, but faded in the second half, mainly because we weren't getting a decent possession with the other changes and Bedeau looks like he's still recovering from his knee operation (he's had one knee "cleaned out", remember).

Pead looked out of his depth when he came on, however, and I can't see Keates starting ahead of the four who did.
