Yes, but every time I predict a win or a draw, we lose!

The trouble is, no matter how badly we are playing there is always the thought that the next game could be the one where it all changes so we daren't miss it just in case.

Exactly. I watched Villa v Portsmouth a few weeks ago and said at the time that Portsmouths performance was one of the worst Premiership performances I'd ever seen. At the time, I thought they were ceratinties to go down, but that seems to have changed now. I just hope that we can turn our performances (and results) around like they have.

I hope we can win ............. but I think we will lose.

I have been banging on about bringing back Standing for weeks but now I am worried that KB will play him against Bournemouth. With one full reserve game since a long injury it would be a massive gamble and probably play into the hands of all the "I told you so brigade" so I thought I would get my two penny worth in first !

If he plays and does well - I am happy to take the plaudits but if he doesn't play well just remember that 90 minutes reserve football in 8 weeks and being expected to somehow transform the BC shambles into a winning team would be a minor miracle.
And there haven't been that many at the Bescot in the last couple of years !!!!!!!!!!

Why do so many people want to keep Gerrard in the team and continue wanting to play Claridge?

My team

Oakes
Pead Roper Mills Fox
Devlin Osborn Keates Ishmel
Constable Timm

Not sure about Gerrard but Claridge was the better attacking player on Saturday, in my opinion he should start

True. In the first half especially, he held the ball up better than any striker we've had this season. That's exactly what you need when you've got a defence which always looks like leaking a stupid goal.

Broadhurst has said that the players and supporters never die attitude will need to be in force tonight.

Althought the team i am about to post will contradict my commecnt regarding Claridge, but for a good reason, i feel:

I'd play:

Oakes

Pead, Gerrard, Mills, Fox

Devlin, Oxxy, Keates, Smith (if fit, if not Ishamail)

Timm, James

My reasons for putting James upfront is that i feel he has played better in this position than any other for us. One game that springs to mind is Chesterfield away, Where he played alongside Timm and both were amazing.

If we go a goal down i'd bring on Claridge and maybe drop Timm back into a more attacking central midfield role, at the end of the day we need to win tonight, if that means putting 3 strikers so be it.

I've put Gerrard in instead of Roper, i know this may not be to popular but i feel overall he is a better player, fingers crossed all the team can play well tonight and get us out of this mess.

I like the look of that team, although Smith & James are both unavailable according to the E&S. I too would play Gerrard and Mills rather than Roper & Mills. Osborn definitely has to play tonight and probably Timm as well. Yes, Timm sometimes gives the ball away cheaply but he gives us something extra going forward.

Agree about that Chesterfield game which was the last league game I've seen .To think I felt really optimistic then about our chances then, even though we should have won. If only James & Timm could reproduce the attacking form they showed there. In this situation I think anything is worth trying but I think the time in between will have drained away the confidence they showed back in late January.

I damm i forgot about James being out to. Maybe put Devlin up front and someone else on the right wing, dare i say Wrighty!!!!!

Ozzy must start, can't believe he wasn't in the starting 11 on Saturday, shocked decision in my view

you could say the same about devlin , fox ,and roper after saturdays
showing but we agree on two things timm and ishmel must start
they could provide the spark we have lacked recently

I'm fortunate to be laid low with a nasty bug so won't be there tonight. Another 0-3 i'm afraid.
