Re: Prediction League 1: 2017-18 - Intro & Latest Table
Updated (if you can call it that!) table after last weekend's fixtures. A strange week as only 3 people actually scored any points - there were a LOT of big zeroes thanks chiefly to Blackburn, Bradford and Scunny not winning as well as Wigan not playing!
The winning score was 3 points, achieved by butts saddler - well done!
A couple of postponed games from the original fixtures that were to be played so you will notice there are quite a few p-p games mounting up now!
This Saturday sees a fuller fixture week, now that the FA Cup is out of the way for a while. Get your predictions in before the 3pm kick offs.

Re: Prediction League 1: 2017-18 - Intro & Latest Table
Updated table after last weekend (3rd Feb) as well as the Bury postponed game on Tues evening which some had as a game in hand.
Not great scoring again and only 3 people got more than 1 point! The winning score was 3 points, achieved by Michal - well done!
Another updated table coming up, from this weekend, plus don't forget the games this Tuesday evening (13th Feb)

Updated table after yesterday's games. Bizarre results again led to only 3 people scoring any points at all!!
The winning score was unsurprisingly only 2 points, achieved by me!
With virtually no points scored, there is hardly any movement in the table, although Morty is starting to be reeled in!! :D

Updated table, after the Tuesday evening games. Much better scoring this time, despite Wigan losing, and only 1 blob.
The winning score was 4 points, achieved by swampysaddler - well done!
Quite a bit of movement this week and there is still a lot to play for in the last dozen or so weeks.
Make sure you predict this coming weekend with the fixtures stretched out over Saturday, Sunday and Monday!

Latest table after the extended weekend run of games. Mixed bag of scoring with some blobs and 1s but the winning score was a respectable 4 points, achieved by Morty, Saigon Saddler and Welsh Saddler - well done you three!
With that win, Morty stretches his lead at the top, but there is a chasing pack all close together so one slip up and someone is waiting to pounce!
Next Saturday's games are already up and running.

Week 26 saw me 10 points adrift of the leader ...... this deficit is now 6 points. I think there's a pattern emerging here, which Saigon can undoubtedly put a scientific name to - plenty of time yet for me to be the champion and Walsall to achieve automatic promotion !!

Re: Prediction League 1: 2017-18 - Intro & Latest Table
Updated table for week 34 from 24th Feb (seems a while ago now!) since before the freezing weather and snow set in!
Generally very good scoring with lots of 3s and some 4s but the winning score was 5 points, achieved by me! (attempts to pat oneself on the back!)
The scores from this week have created a few gaps near the top of the table but none insurmountable, so keep predicting over the next 9-10 prediction weeks and who knows how things will end up!

Re: Prediction League 1: 2017-18 - Intro & Latest Table
Updated table after the weekend and the p-p games yesterday evening. Pretty low scoring to be honest as the likes of Wigan and Roverscum let so many people down. The winning score was therefore only 2 points, achieved by 4 predictors - saddla, Michal, Manchester Saddler and Donnington Saddler - well done to you all!
Not really any movement in the table so Morty is still comfortably leading the way!

Re: Prediction League 1: 2017-18 - Intro & Latest Table
Updated table after last weekend and the midweek games which a couple had as p-p games.
Appalling scoring tbh! Lots of 0s and 1s with only 2 people getting more than a solitary point! And even then it was only 2 points - well done to the week's winners, reedswood saddler and Maverick.
Not much movement in the table because of this and a certain predictor jumped the gun a bit when saying he was now third!!
A good selection of games this weekend despite the international break so keep going till the end of the race folks!

Thought I had 2 points but it's only one as I thought Posh had won, but they lost, meaning I'm level on the disintegrating Welsh but with two games in the bank which are Blackburn and Wigan - both to win.
Exceedingly pleased and in Singapore airport.

Updated table after last weekend's games. Much better scoring than the previous few weeks and no zero pointers for a change!
The winning score was 4 points, achieved by Asps, itasaddler, reedswood saddler and me! Well done to us all!
A bumper weekend of games this weekend, given it is Easter, so lots of points on offer - don't forget to predict on both threads and note when all the games and kick off times are - they are all over the place!

Exceedingly pleased and gratified to find myself ensconced in THIRD position, having cocked a massive and outrageous snoop at various annoying, vocal and now oh so very quiet predictors. :D
While further inroads seem unlikely, I have the ringside seat to watch the titanic battle for the championship over the coming weeks.

I wouldn't mind all this bluster but you're a massive 11 points of the top of the table!
I've had a crap season and I am closer to you than you are to the lead - and even the gap between second place and you is the same as gap between you and JJ in second place.
When I read you bluster this is all I see.

Can the MODS do something emphatic and robust about these needy and outrageous series of Manchester's 'look at me' !!! posts?
Another crap season for Manchester. I vaguely recall having one of those about 12 or 13 years ago.
Grow up a bit and stop cluttering up the prediction threads with your boring nonsense!
