That reaction to Flanagan coming on... hardly going to inspire confidence in the lad.
Think Whitney needs to go as the atmosphere is too hostile. He'll never get the crowd back.

Come on you Saddlers!

As it stands currently (I thought a winning situation couldn't last) we are just 3 points off bottom but one place!

Stays as 2-2 and he'll have his excuse.

Lose with a home attendance of just 3,000 and it's gonna be interesting.

Even that's a bit of a stretch, in Flanagan's case- he's 23, so more of a bloke who hasn't played many games, albeit for various reasons, than a youngster.

Clearly audible on commentary.
Mick Kearns can't understand substitution and 'doesn't agree with it'.

Sums the situ up

That must be down there with one of our lowest league attendances for some time?

One of our stato’s will confirm I’m sure....

The lowest since 3,173 see us beat Bournemouth 3-1 in January or February 2013. The match was nearly postponed due to heavy snow just before kick off. Before that, 3,006 to see us end one of Dean Smith's long winless runs against Colchester in December 2012.

Walsall's 2nd substitution, on 81 minutes. Hardly enough time left to work up a sweat....... (Agyei replaces Oztumer)

..... and on 88 minutes, we go 3-2 ahead !!!!!!!!

Nah, strikers that actually SCORE goals are of no use in a team that plays in Whitneyland!

4 - 2.

Wonder If the Saddler fans giving grief to Whitney for the subs have got a few apologies in them. Flanagan has played well by the sounds of it and we've scored twice since.
Gillingham result sounded harsh should be 6 from 6 points.

I'm not saying Whitney is the blooming messiah, but maybe he doesn't deserve as much stick as he's getting (why is it so volatile..).
The long and the short of it is with such low support it is perhaps time for him to go unfortunately.

Could it be that the grief motivated the team to step up a gear?

It was 2-5 at one point so the Blades have staged an impressive comeback!
