Not sure if this link will work for overseas folk.

http://www.live-fodbold.dk/livestreamin ... ive-stream

(Danish site)

It's now also here - if you can work through the ads on the day, and if it's not banned in your part of the world.

BBC iplayer also carries S4C so, if you have a VPN that can fool the app into thinking you are in the UK, that may be a better way of watching this festival of football.
(Don’t think tunnelbear fools it, but that may have changed).

So will we have to suffer this being commentated on in Welsh? Would seem to be a ridiculous thing to be done as the vast majority of the citizens of Wales neither speak nor understand the Welsh language?

Have watched some of the Scottish live matches from Scotland with the same problem.

To most of the 'older' generation, you may as well have been speaking in Welsh my friend, the thing most of us learnt was that if you press button 'B' you got your money back! :D :D

It's a specific Welsh language channel.

I remember years ago watching a really good european football highlights programme called Sgorio. (score I guess). All in Welsh but showed match highlights from Italy and Spain. Not sure if it's still around.

They showed FA cup games back then, all in Welsh of course.

I also remember button 'B' - even better for getting other people's money back.

There's English Language commentary on 5 Live Sports Extra. So, mute the TV & listen to the radio commentary.

If you have a Bet365 account it will be streamed live.

Mansfield v Shaw Lane (whoever they are) is on currently.

Tunnelbear does fool it, but the 500mb of data they give you for free is nowhere near enough for the whole game.

I stopped using BBC iPlayer years ago.

The Season has settled down nicely into its usual morass of being sh*te , so i see no difference today , i'm afraid.

We'' lose this by at least 2 and nothing will change, JW will still be here until after the transfer window, the new Manager will save us just from relegation and then Oz will go on a free in June.

Sorry to sound so negative but i've got a stinking cold, i'm at work for another 4 hours and i'm fed up with my beloved team being crap.

I reinstalled BBC iPlayer with a view to trying it out with Tunnelbear - just to see if it still works.

However, I have an Android app called TVCatchup and S4C is available on that. I have never had reason to look for that channel before. Am currently testing it out by watching 'Ffermio'. No VPN required.

******
All set - though I may have to watch it in Welsh. The only other thing is that kick off is at 1.15 am HK time. A bit late for us old folk.

With the inane ramblings voiced by English commentators I might just listen to the sheep messers instead.

I have watched bits of few games on this channel previously and where they have sparked my interest I have pressed the red button for the English commentary. Newport is in the part of Wales where there are very few welsh speakers compared to, say, the north. It would be pretty daft of S4C not to offer an alternative commentary.

Started o.k.

Newport don't look a team that's going to press much so already space for Roberts and Ozzy.

They do have a long throw specialist in the team though.

Remember going away to Newport in the late seventies with the old man 1-0 win with an Ian Paul free kick springs to mind ,

Build up is far too slow. Dare i say this is a game where two strikers might actually work.
