Greatly looking forward to returning from shopping with the missus, to tune in to this 'victory' that everyone is so overwhelmingly predicting, but won't hold my breath.
Baka scoring! ..........where is that magic striker OG when you need him most..........

Fie, fie! Unknit that Faltering poor defence
And cross more hopeful balls from those flanks
To please thy fans, thy manager, thy owner
It becomes thy goal as chips do grace the stands
Compounds thy fame as Ladbrokes short the odds
And makes more sense, as teams are beatable
A defender moved is like a long cross, doubled
Muddy, ill-seeming, thick, bereft of purpose,
And while the ball is so, none so forward minded
Will deign to stretch or trap one part of it
You can look up the rest as a metaphor for the relationship between club and owner, noting that the best performance of 'The Taming of the Shrew' that I've seen was by a feminist lesbian theatre collective, and their lead delivered this monologue in the best sneering put-down possible. Google 'Shakespeare shrew Kate monologue' if you're interested.
Thy owner is thy lord, thy life, thy keeper,
Thy head, thy sovereign, one that cares for thee,
And for thy maintenance commits his body...
The game? I'd be happy with a 1-1, ecstatic with a 0-1 smash and grab.

Saddlers unchanged. Flo returns on the bench.

Re: Portsmouth (A) League One, 19th August 3pm
Sloppies have equalised at home to Rochdale, now 1-1 (EDIT - Sloppies now 2-1 up)
We've had 3 goal attempts at Fratton Park, from those strikers Leahy (2) and Morris ....... none on target
We've also been caught 3 times offside which is strange, as Jackson's still on the bench.....

I've not been able to log in for any of our games so far, assumed it was the same log in details as Saddlers player and it tells me my account is locked :|

0-0 at half time - doesn't sound like a very entertaining game, more like a midfield battle of attrition. Pompey have had 1 shot on target, we've had none.
Late flurry of goals in South Yorkshire ... Doncaster Rovers 2 Blackpool 1

Great great, great! Away from home at Pompey, that's really good going, now keep 'em out! .....................................................It's so hard to keep track of Baky's goals aye it! No wonder most of the EFL are tracking his every........miss control, missed shot, slow movement, slow turn, feeble tackle... another £2Mill transfer kitty in Jeef's pocket soon!

Ref seems like he's getting influenced by their 18k crowd.
Gillespie took down the striker for the penalty apparently.
