Walsall yellow card, 19 minutes...... Andreas Makris, for what was judged to be a dive

19 minutes and Bradford aye scored yet? Were they all on the lash last night, celebrating finishing in the play off's already? They probably consider todays offering as a 'sweep aside job'. :(
Where is Baky incidentally is he injured?
Makris certainly seems to be putting himself about somewhat, perhaps today is the day he actually does score?

Re: Bradford City (A) 1st April, 3pm
Sorry, I'm in a bit late on to this match.
I see it's contract time for Franck.
Nice to see Candlin get on the bench, he's been knocking a few in for the development squad.
I know nothing of the other lad, Hayles.
- It doesn't matter how many corners we get Welsh. They'll only need one!

I see our old friend Benning has scored for Mansfield.

HT 0-0
Came under a bit of pressure towards the end of the half but hung on. Not many goals in the 1st Div. only 4 so far.

I can't imagine Bradford playing as poorly as that in the second half.

Baxendale came on as a sub in their last game (80 min) but doesn't figure in today's line-up.

No substitutions to start the 2nd half. Speaking of substitutes though, I see Jordy Hiwula-Mayifuila only makes Bradford City's bench....

Not so much as good as we could expect, I would put in the 'minor miracle' category!
Think Bolton will have to get their skates on if they are to match my 5-0 prediction!

Attendance 17,880 (205 visitors) .
Bradford are showing more intent at the start of the second half.

Bristol Rovers 1 Sloppies 0
Rochdale 1 Northampton Town 0
Odds of 201 to 1 for Makris to get a hat-trick at the moment ....
A 2nd yellow card for Bradford City
Bad day at the office for Scunthorpe ... Millwall now 3-0 ahead.
Rotherham losing at home, and if it stays that way they are mathematically relegated.

Re: Bradford City (A) 1st April, 3pm
The expression 'open the floodgates' comes to mind!
Mind you, with gates like todays, this is a club that can afford to employ proper strikers like Clarke, and, until we find a gem, (cus we certainly can't afford to buy one) mid table mediocrity is the best we can expect for many years to come.
Visits to Bratfut will always be a matter of how many will they score against us today. Sad really.

Shame :D
Seriously, of the clubs of similar size that were in the second tier early this millennium, they're the only ones to have done better than us. Grimsby, Crewe , Tranmere. a little wider Stockport, Luton. Not sure what that says, if it says anything.

With Shrewsbury, Gillingham, and Oldham all losing, that really puts the cat among the pigeons in the race for League Two.

It is a sad indictment of our club if all we were expecting was a hammering, and only losing by the odd goal is seen as an achievement :(BarnsleySaddler wrote:That`s all folks. sadly 1-0 loss, but better than expected.

First time i have seen him play for more than a few minutes. thought he had a decent game and tried really hard. Unlucky not to score in first half.

O.k maybe I'm being too harsh.
I still don't see him as a lone striker though. With ozzy injured I think Whitney should've put Jackson back in upfront and had Makris in the Ozzy role, think he'd be more effective that way.
