Looking forward to today more than the previous few seasons under Smith. Here's hoping for a team that can present a more physical challenge to the opposition

My super soaraway Brexit prediction is .................. 2 - 0 :D

Should be a good game. Bit concerned about the gel factor... still, 3 - 0 to us. We'll all get carried away and finish just outside playoffs. We're still on for from last season, unfortunately there's somewhat of a triggers broom about the team!!

We owe them one after last season's rubbish performance there - one that arguably cost us automatic promotion.

No substitutions at the start of the 2nd half at the Banks's, by the way.

61min substitution - Matt Preston on for James O'Connor (injury) :(

Bury 1 Charlton Athletic 0

10-man Dingles now showing us what they're made of (but being careful not to step in it), 2-2 at Rotherham.

We appear to have increased the aggression/passion into our game, more fouls than the opposition, that never happened last season!

Tom Bradshaw substituted after 73min as Barnsley go down 4-2 at Ipswich

Sam Mantom not even on the bench for Scunthorpe.

Romaine Sawyers played the 90min for Brentford, but ended up on the losing side 2-1 at Huddersfield.

Meelan was substituted for Portsmouth after 69 minutes

Andy Taylor played the 90 minutes for Blackpool, and they won 2-0 against Exeter City

Sawyers not tracking back..helping Clarke....

Sawyers gives the ball away again

Sawyers has to adjust big time

Not a fan favourite yet then.....

We are more aggressive and passionate but this game is probably not the best gauge it.
The amount of free kicks the ref was giving them for complete non-challenges or them falling over was ridiculous.

I'll take 3-1 and "not great" any time (however, I think we'll play better than that & lose this season).

Jackson's burst of pace won the free kick for the first, after that he had two chances and scored them both. Perfect.
Cracking double-save from Etheridge at 1-0- at that point Dons probably thought it wasn't their day.
Osbourne looked a bit off the pace in the first half, but grew into it, & was the pick of the midfield in the second. Played a big part in third.
Each of the back 4 (including Preston) had a shaky moment- you always felt we might concede.
Bakayoko looks like this season's big bonus- great run & cross for the third, and tore them apart down the wing a few minutes later.

Potentially a long, hard season for Wimbledon.
