I guess it's largely because whenever we do try and keep it on the ground we're not given enough time on the ball - Barnsley seem to have energy to spare!

I don't like the look of this, Barnsley look far more capable going forward and you get the feeling if one goes in it'll end up being three!

Very, very disappointing. Barnsley played well and wanted it more and we could not respond. This side is full of good footballers, but they simply do not have the fight and mettle when it really counts.

And as for Whitney replacing Bradshaw with Hiwula on 70 minutes, that effectively killed any attacking intent we had.

Should have gone straight up - thank SOD for the failure. Gutted by a better team tonight. Looking forward to Thursday despite this, but glad that the hotel rooms at Euston can be cancelled at no charge :(
