The season is by no means over. We need to get our cack together before we slip out of the playoff places.

Not delusional at all. We are playing against the form team in the league. Need to regroup and maintain a top six place.

What you mentioning me for??

I didn't blame the fans you moron I said clubs with our support generally don't challenge for promotion to the second tier. Am I incorrect?

I'm as gutted as anyone right now so back off & indulge in Sallians pages of nonsense.

Season over, the first half of the season was great, but in came O'Dysmal, with the intelligence of a slug, and we will slip out of the play off's. What a chance we had. Bonser and the Board hang your heads in shame....you knew he was duff, you should have stepped in earlier and got rid.............................appalling waste of a season.

We are not scoring at all.....let's raise some hope by bringing in a player who can score

But leave him on the bench....let us go slowy, slowly.....not too many changes and improvements at once.

Walsall statistically the thickest town in Britain. Come here to get brain degeneration.

I think we should sign a prolific striker and make him the goal keeper, that way you see...we wont upset the balance of the team by showing that we favour players just because of their record.

For the record, and as established last week, you are incorrect. I'd list the clubs who have got promoted on gates similar to ours over the last 10-15 years but I can't be bothered.

Also make sure we leave off the fast and creative Lalkovic....only bring him on when we are two goals down with 20 minutes to go.....that way the opposition will know that we are not scared to lose a game while holding back our best players....

It sends a strong message to all in the division, Walsall are not scared to throw away games on a matter of principle.

Generally clubs with our crowds do not get promoted. If your going to argue them I expect to see the facts! I can think of a handful in the 30+ years I've been following football. As I say; generally speaking. Do you know what that phrase means?

If you want to indulge a troll Chester so be it. Doesn't piss me off in the slightest. Just would prefer not to see it.

If you do not expect me to bite when the first thing someone does when we let in a goal is search me out then your mistaken. It's a poor trait. Poor form....

Hope the home fans make sure the end of game displeasure is aimed purely at O'Dysmal and the Board.
We have only one chance to avoid slipping out of the play off zone, get rid of the knob head, and the players will respond positively I'm sure, otherwise a lack of action by the Board will end with a ruined season.

Grigg has just probably just ensured promotion for Wigan, have we let the fourth in yet?

Okay. If we discount ourselves, Crewe, Gillingham, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Colchester and Yeovil you're right. That's 7 clubs. More than a handful, I'd say.

football success is not based on crowd size...it is based on style, tactics, good management of matches and people, knowledge of opposition systems and players...... every player can improve, decision making and execution on the pitch is the issue

money and support are secondary factors.... It is 11 v 11 professionals plus the coaching staff.

Our earlier success proves your theories wrong, as does the lack of success of many teams with larger crowds and money.

I'd say Bournemouth are bit bigger than us historically, chriss5471. Rotherham are on a par though too, even if they have 'kicked on' in recent years with their new ground etc.

Brentford are losing at home, lost 7 out of their last 10, 8 out of 11 if they lose today.

Smith made the wrong decision.....short term thinking, with success he would have had more options....but now looks like he will miss out on everything while leaving us in the sewers.

Attendances mean fudge all as football clubs keep showing in various divisions, we've done it before we will no doubt do it again, whether it's this season..who knows. We are a mid table league one side historically (by a mile) so to actually have a promotion run isn't out of this world or unrealistic to sustain.

In others news fudge off o Driscoll, utterly ruining it all dour twerp

Based purely on attendance this web site seems to think their average attendance is similar to what ours has been:

This game just gets better and better. :?

If you bring on 3 subs and none of them are Rico Henry then there must be an issue between the two.
But if there was, why would you put them in the match day squad at all?
It just doesn't make sense.

Bournemouth always attracted 6-7000 in League 1. Gillingham always attracted nearly 6000-8000. Crewe, Colchester, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Yeovil. Thats 5 clubs. In 20-30 years of football? And you have the gall to say I'm incorrect. Jesus.

Lets not pollute a match thread Sallian style Bath Saddler. We've both made our points; lets leave it and let everyone get on with knocking our club, even though its usually me knocking our fans apparently.....
