43 minutes, and Walsall's THIRD yellow card is dished out.....Chambers this time.
Half-time and it's 0-1. Some uncomfortable statistics from that first 45 minutes:
Shots - Wigan 8, of which 2 on target.
Walsall ZERO.
Let's see if Sean O'Driscoll has a"Plan B" (or even a better Plan A) for the 2nd half.

Not one shot on goal compared to Wigan's eight.
I never have confidence in any match anymore, seems we are struggling in every single game
Seems the confidence, defence, attack, spirit, football have all gone down the pan

We've been backing off and giving them too much space all half.
It was asking for them to have a pop and one to eventually be in target.
Worryingly we look completely clueless at the minute.

Unbelievably shocking, only 1 team in it and deservedly winning.
Not sure what is worse, our overall performance or watching M Preston try to pass the ball.

We're not playing well but there's always the possibility we can improve.
You'll always be a tool though. Well done!

Should be 3-0 down by now, so maybe we'll do a Crewe in reverse in the second half.
One positive - Forde is playing well.
Btw, what is the point of having sallian on ignore if people who should know better persist in quoting the idiot.?

Have to say that after Crewe we could all see todays result coming a mile off, really miffed though, how could a confident free flowing, attacking team, turn to a pile of poo, they have lost their mojo, a bit like our fans at Crewe.
We await a miraculous turnaround second half then?

Attendance at the Banks's's' today - 6,740
Preston gets Walsall's FOURTH yellow card, 65 min.
No substitutes as yet, so S O'D must reckon the players on the pitch can do something???? :?

Apparently, we have had a shot. They have had 11 (still only 2 on target).
