We need someone to take the pressure off Tom, he isn't scoring as much in open play.

The only consolation about today's result is:

1. We did not lose
2. If this doesn't tell the management team and the board that we need strengthening upfront then nothing will

Don't think this squad has the bottle to get automatic promotion I'm afraid.

Who the hell do some of our fans think we are?!

Disappointing result but should have had it wrapped up in first half.

I love Milan but really starting to think he ain't the player I thought he would be for us....

we are struggling not to lose every game, we will do well to make 6th

No doubt SOD will tell us there are positives....but he needs to cure the negatives.

if we were to go up, we would come straight back down in a humiliating way like in 1989.....division above is very strong compared to this one, and we are now getting very average in this one.

To be fair to SOD it is difficult to take over and keep things consistent along with improvements, very difficult when it was mainly based on team-club dynamics rather than game changing players.

How the hell did we not win that? Crewe were rubbish. There for the taking, just like Blackpool. FFS. Taylor and Downing both failed to hit the target from 5 yards!!!! Their keeper made 3 or 4 good saves, but felt like the only way we would score was if we got another penalty.

Shooting practice all week please.

Just got on the train to head home.
Frustrating in the extreme.
All over them in the first half and didn't out the chances away.
As soon as they equalised we just started to fall apart.

The game experience was made all the worse by sitting in the left side of the stand which seemed to be inhabited by the clueless and a load of wrist slitters that were moaning we weren't winning within the first 3 minutes. FFS!!!

Walsall play the game as though they got 4 hours to score

We need to get into the habit of scoring a bucket load of goals early on

One goal isn't worth two dead flies often

Changing things in last 5 minutes is too late

It was obvious that we were going to mess up today after the first few minutes, when we managed to miss a couple of sitters.
I think I've finally run out of patience with Milan and Forde. Why O'Dismal waited so long before subbing them is a worry.
Fans were quite right to be frustrated by that performance.

the manager set the team up to create chances and to restrict the opposition having chances. He did that extremely well today imo.
The stats prove it. We had 19 shots at goal Crewe had 4.
I don't know what people expect. Do they want him to run on and put it in the net himself?

Didn't go today so my thoughts are only statically led, however my lad went with his mate and he sounds so fed up on the train back.18 shots and 1 goal against a poor side tell its own story really. The goals seemed to have dried up of late, really is time to add firepower to the squad. We have a fantastic opportunity to do something amazing this season against all the odds. Realistically automatic promotion has been barely believable but the play offs should now be expected from the squad with the form shown this season, hope SOD acts fast to rectify this problem and signs a striker soon, think we need a bit of experience up top, am sure there will be someone out there who can fit in and get us over the line

If he signs a striker he`ll probably leave him on the bench.

Re: Crewe Alexandra (A) League One, 13th Feb, 3pm

2 basic problems today (and recently if you think about it..)

1. We simply cannot finish - teams that get promoted don't have this problem. It is becoming a major factor and now costing us points in too many games

2. Quality - quite simply we couldn't secure 3 points against what was basically a very poor team today. What on earth we are doing trying to walk the ball all the way to the goal line every time is now becoming a total joke. Even when we did take a shot instead the quality was dreadful (I'd suggest some shooting practice for every player Sean..)

Now before I say this I know I'm gonna get competed against and probably slated - I'm sick of the way Romaine Sawyers is giving possession away and doing the most annoying things whenever he has the ball!

Why does he make the game (and his game) so bloody complicated? Today on too many occasions to even recall, he had the ball with options around him and every time he refused to pass into space for the ball to be developed but turned into mid-park and player traffic - almost always losing possession as he did so.. I'm sorry but his possession is becoming a liability to us not an asset..

No doubt I'll calm down in a bit but I honestly left there today feeling fed up and very angry.. I recall people like Mr Whitney referencing the quality of our 'game management' - well unfortunately it's gone from excellent to awful and is becoming an all too regular occurrence.

I don't want to seem like I'm overreacting but come on, Auto promotion is looking extremely unlikely in my honest opinion unless something radically changes..

If anyone can explain how a double substitution on 88 minutes is supposed to influence a game - I'd be interested to know. Clueless and a smack in the mouth for the 1200 saddlers there today

The players also need to be stopped from quoting stupidity to the press about our upcoming games and the chances of promotion - they are beginning to sound like they know things aren't right but they need to say it to keep the criticism at low level... On today's performance we've got zip chance of auto promotion with the quality of the teams around us. The only positive from today us that Wigan drew..

Just seen the BBC stats for the game - 19 shots and we manage one goal against a very dodgy looking defence and that was a penalty..

Back room staff - you shouldn't need a meeting to decide what needs a focus next week on the training ground..
