Full time, fantastic result.
Let's have a good premier league team away from home next, Everton away would be a nice one.
Exciting times.

Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Well done, players, staff and mostly the very noisy 1600.

We are the only West Midlands team in the fourth round
Wolves out, Blues out, Villa and West Brom face replays

Although I'm gutted I didn't get a ticket for this match, really didn't expect a sell out and left it too late, I am so glad our team and our supporters stepped up and did the business. So Happy!
On the other hand some of the posts on this site in the build up have been nothing short of embarrassing. "Can't understand why anyone would want to go" "We're going to be easily beaten what's the point" "Shouldn't give Dean Smith any stick for binning us for the money." Where's your passion?
Everton away in round 4 please. Then the same fans can tell us why it isn't worth going to watch.

Re: Brentford (A) F.A. Cup 3rd round, 9th Jan 3pm
£67,500 prize money to boot.
On top of the dosh in previous rounds that means we've made over £110k in prize money plus gate money. We'd have made six figures in the League Cup too. That'll be around £300k when we allegedly don't budget to get beyond round one in any cup.
Forget selling. Buy, buy, buy!

When is the last time we've got past this stage in the cup I can't even remember would it be Man Utd in 97?
Was it Stoke away, ten years (ish) ago?
Saddlers player said so I thought it was the league cup obviously not.
Back to the point at hand YES!!!! I was telling myself I'm more worried about Coventry keeping the league form but the game was thrilling to listen to and what a feeling to be flying in the cup again.

I bet you thought that about Oxford United in the League cup as well. How did that game go for you?
If you read the rest of my post you'll notice I said 'If we play a weakened team that may change things'. You can't honestly look at the two teams first elevens and say yours is better?
Oohhhh if only football were that simple.

Disagree Sallian - he's not getting opportunities so let him get a loan deal and some game time - it's only a months deal so if we need him we can recall as and when. Good move for both parties in my opinion..

Didn't enter my head this would sell out, couldn't believe it when it said sold out.... I could have even run there, Walsall fans are annoying bandwagon part timers

Well they also saying '...with view to a permanent move' though..... We could lose a few players soon through sale or injury, then Baxo goes we will end up stuck in the mud again....is good for him to have first team football for sure

I didn't expect a win....Hopefully will motivate them to get the league performances back on track...... Coventry is difficult, but almost all the games seem difficult
