We have a goalkeeper who is an excellent shot-stopper, but doesn't command his own 6-yard area......

Surprise we concede from a set piece. Getting fed up now, toothless upfront, getting sick of people saying put bax in his natural position, the guy is not league 1 standard for god sake. Time for change and a big clear out starting with the manager, thanks for everything that saved us but time to take the exit door.

The only serious part of that scoreline is that it puts Crewe only a point behind us, I grant you that. Apart from that I find the scoreline on its own extremely amusing. :D

For the first time, I'm starting to think we're more likely to go down than not.

If Smith can't keep this squad up, he's gorra gew

Their keeper just completed his hat trick of crosswords as the final whistle blew.

Crept into the Smith Out camp today, appreciate he has done well with resources before and that Chesterfield were inform but this team is crying out for a mix up and a plan B which Smith ain't gonna offer us. Yes, you can stand by a fumbling manager but everything needs mixing up at some point. 4 years with this same style is a long while but the amicable thing to do now would to let Deano go and bring in another fresh manager with fresh ideas for the summer and beyond.

Good support today from us though it seems. Well done to the travelling contingent!

Uts!

If anyone was in any real doubt, we are now in a real relegation scrap. To not sign anyone on loan before the window shut just shows DS s belief that he has the personnel, just a shame he doesn't see what the rest of us can. I just hope there are 4 worst teams than us in the next 8 games. Does anyone know how Londo DS is contracted for?

Dean Smith: "If we play like that against Notts County, we will win"

Why Dean? Are the FA going to consider a rule change whereby teams that pass more balls backwards than forwards whilst not scoring as the winning team. Hope so, we would be top of the Premier League in no time.

Dean Smith is embarrassing now. Sack him tonight please.

Given bhuna, I wouldn't put it past a change even at this stage. Good manager.

This squad should.t even be flirting with relegation given the crap 3rd division this season

We finished last season with 49 goals for and 49 against.
We currently stand with 36 goals for and 42 against.
I can see us conceding 7 in that time, but I cannot ever see us scoring 13 goals in 8 games.
I'm pretty sure last season was some form of record for the club in regard for not scoring enough.

36 for leaves us in 23rd.
42 against leaves us in 6th.

Judge for yourselves...

I've gone from Smith In to having fence splinters up my arse today, and that's not even from the performance. Saying we would win with that kind of performance Deano? Absolute joke, he's gone insane. Not sure whether it is arrogance or he's just an idiot at this stage.

You've lost me Deano :?

Managers always start talking utter bilge when they run out of ideas - just look at Paul Lambert at Villa, claiming they were doing the right things, and things would come right - they'd have got relegated if they'd kept him in charge
